Dr. Bedway is thorough when explaining procedures and what his plans are. He is great at updating family members himself and has a great bedside manner.

It is very rare that I leave a 5 star review. I was so pleased w Dr Bedway that I’m leaving a review on all the sites for him. I’m in the medical field myself though not surgery so I’m aware of what’s going on around me in this setting and that leaves my standards high. He was professional but kind. Very down to earth will treat you like a person. He explained everything to me with out belittling me. He is a fast talker and mover but never tried to rush me out of the room and took all the time I needed. My hernia was larger than originally thought so he had to make some decisions for me in the OR and I truly appreciate his thoughtfulness. I would trust him w my husband and kids. THANK YOU Dr Bedway!! Truly!

My personal Dr did not have good solution for my issue (multiple lipoma causing discomfort), I was then sent to Brevard dermatology who then recommended Dr. Bedway, at first meeting he identified the issue and how to fix (through surgery) and provided multiple options. A few weeks later he performed the surgery and everything went exactly as expected per my meeting with the Dr. I had 29 lipoma's removed and could sleep more comfortable (even after surgery) immediately. Only wished I knew of Dr Bedway sooner.

This area is tough to find good Drs. My experience w Dr Bedway was great. He has a fantastic bedside manner. Very down to earth and treats you like a human and not a number. I had hernia repair but it was much larger than initially shown on a sonogram. He made adjustments needed to the procedure. I am extremely happy with him, his staff and his work. Which is the important part. I do not easily give away 5 stars especially being in the medical field myself.

Just leaving his office after consultation on a hernia. This doctor is excellent on explaining everything and he didn't rush it. knows his business

No won’t recommend. By law DR is supposed to warn you of All the possible risks and consequences associated with the procedure. In my case he didn’t warn me about nerves and numbness.I started having issues and discomfort straight after the surgery and never ever had anything similar prior to surgery. He hit the nerve and as a result I had half of my head numb after surgery for at least half a year (even now it feels odd from time to time) and when returned to his office he shrugged his shoulders. Dr did lymph node excision in my neck because supposedly that was causing migraines, whereas I didn’t really need that surgery. As a matter of fact they didn’t even have a simple X-ray of my neck to rule out neck curve issues that cause migraines and tension. I went to other specialists afterwards and I was told if it’s soft and movable then it’s not cancerous. Also when I switched my doctors they did a simple X-ray and turns out I have a straight neck! So that surgery was in vain. And ended up even hurting me. But that’s my experience I’m sure it varies from patient to patient.
