Was on a vacation and fractured my ankle badly. I was not from there and he was doc on call. Everyone reassured me that he could do the surgery. Well, after I arrived home my Dr had to redo the entire thing as all of the pins were out of the plate. 2 surgeries in 8 days. When he was talking to my daughters post op he was yawning and complaining about being on call 3 nights in a row!! Beware!!

Dr. Callenberger is an excellent surgeon, he has performed two knee replacements on me, and I have had no complaints. I have been a patient since 2012. Now I'm coming back for carpal tunnel surgery. He gets my vote... A+

All staff were friendly and professional. Dr. Callenberger was very easy to talk with and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Very importantly, i never felt like he was rushing to go see his next patient. Being a former R.N. i really appreciate his conservative treatment approach to my torn bicep tendon.

Dr. Callenberger impressed me as soon as he walked in the door, because he pronounced my name correctly, not leaving out the "t" in Johnston. I said to myself, this is a doctor who is meticulous and cares about the details. He was also very prompt in seeing me. He listened to me without making me feel like I did not know what I was talking about. Even though he recommends cortisone shots for the knee as the first treatment, after listening to me talk about my past successes with gel injections, he very graciously agreed to start with that treatment. I was nervous about the pain, because of past experiences with the injection treatment, but I hardly felt a thing, especially with his PA, Amantha, holding my leg in place so that I could relax my knee and leg. He is my new hero!!

Amazing doctor and has trained his staff exceptionally well. They are FAST, friendly and efficient. I had two total knee replacements with excellent results, just as they had prepared me for. I highly recommended Dr. Callenberger!
