List of Shane Hernesman's Reviews
Always has time to talk to you. He's been my doctor since I moved to FL in 2002. Wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.
He’s not only an Outstanding Physician, but an even better Person. A rare combination…
Highly highly recommend this doctor spends plenty of time with you and wants to fix you not just medicate you
Every interaction I have with Dr. Hernesman is positive. I strongly recommend him. His staff is just as wonderful.
Shane Hernesman is the best doctor I've been to since moving to Florida 25 years ago. He's very caring and understanding he's basically a really, really nice guy. I can call him anytime and he always has time for me. He is what doctors should be, he will listen and take his time to make sure he's answered all my questions. That's one of the main reasons why I go to him, unlike other doctors that rush you out the door in five minutes Dr. Hernesman will spend as much time as it takes. I have even called him on weekends with questions and he has no problem talking to me about them.
Disappointed in the change in practice "style" and when asked about records they now want to charge me for those as well.
Always a great experience with the office and Cori is a fantastic medical professional. It’s nice to get treated like a person by a medical professional! Could go on and on about how much I enjoy the staff here.
I usually do not write reviews, but this one is a must do. I moved from orlando to the area and finally found a doctor close to where work and live.I scheduled my first appointment just to get in as a new patient last year and got all the history transferred to the office.I scheduled a new aappointment in Jan for annual check up. But the nurse practioner told me I should be back in March when my insurance would be covering my visit for physical..Wrong !!!! I can get physical annually start Jan 1st. During the visist we talked more about when I can do my physical rather than focus on how I feel as a patient. She talked rounds and rounds I did not understand and We were not connected as Doctor and patient level. And she told me that I was not allowed to tell her how I feel as a patient and my concerns because this is stricktly for check up.So I called in again to make another appointment and requested for Dr Hernesman. Kathy at reception desk said: sorry, we can not change doctor for you because you already established with cori.I said : I am sorry but I did not feel I understood cori and there was really nothing established yet since she did not want to know me how I feel as a patient. Kathy said: We don't care !!! You don't have to be our patient !!!!That's that ! I spent all these time to for 2 no results appointments and all these time to fill out forms, gether history.....THEY DON'T CARE !!!! I thought DOCTORS suppose to care !!!
Dr. Hernesman is very polite and friendly. However, his office staff was unprofessional multiple times. Including keeping me waiting in the hallway past my scheduled appointment for an office party, forgetting to send a blood work prescription to a lab after 3 days only to find it was just sitting on a messy desk, sarcastic receptionist, and a lack of in-depth care. I received no apology or form of remorse for poor treatment. Even after requesting a visit with the Doctor, I was rescheduled with the Physicians Assistant. I DO NOT recommend Dr. Hernesman as a General Physician.
I have been a patient of Dr. Hernesman for over 10 years. He always takes the time to listen and hear my problems and concerns whether it is for me or my kids. The only complaints I have ever had is with his nurses or office staff. Whenever I address it with him things improve. The office staff the past few years has been great.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
