Stephen Griffith's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Griffith is a physician that has no business treating patients in an ER setting. He appears, in my opinion, to have a personality disorder, which compromises his decisions in an ER setting. I do not recommend this physician.

I saw Dr. Griffith back in 2012 when my husband rushed me to the viera ER for an extreme panic attack. I had taken my usual medication that evening and shortly after I got there, I was told it wasn’t showing in my bloodwork. So Dr. Griffith for some unbeknownst reason decided I was “non compliment” and not taking my medication when I had absolutely no reason to lie about that. My husband had even watched me take it. Then he proceeded to ask me if I had ever been diagnosed with “personality disorder” and insult me. I was in shock. Not only was this Dr. out of line, but he was basing an incredibly wrong diagnosis on a 5 minute meeting with me. Disturbing. I was later diagnosed from the Mayo Clinic by a competent Doctor and specialists with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia syndrome. Among other illnesses. I thought back to my terrible experience where this Doctor looked at me and thought he could make a quick assumption and diagnose me with such unprofessionalism and judgment. I did not deserve that. Not only was he NOT helpful, but he was condescending and rude. I will never go back to viera hospital due to this experience. And I certainly won’t ever see this dr again. Avoid him at all costs!

Took our daughter to the ER and he was our doctor. Horrible ear ache, throat, etc No compassion, no patience, seemed more interested in laughing and talking with co-workers. I thought he was a rude young doctor. It's a shame b/c there are so many good doctors, who care out there.

He saw me and didn't listen or understand that I had recently had brain surgery and suffer from chronic migraines. He stayed at the nurses station visiting & laughing about his & their personal life. 3 hours, he still had not come back to see me (and I was the only patient in the ER. I managed to get a working phone and called my mother to come and get me. This Dr could have cared less that my migraine was at a 9 in terms of pain. No meds - he did an EKG???? While waiting on my mother, Im still throwing up and my head feels like it's ready to explode. Obviously, he's never had a migraine. The Dr. should work in a field where he doesn't have to show any compassion for ppl who are ill.
