Janis Black's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Black refused to talk to several family members about their concerns with ongoing medical issues and the covid vaccine. They have not been vaccinated because Dr. Black will not talk to them about the risks involved. Dr. Blacks office has also failed 3 times to fill out a referral for one of the same family members 3 times now. We're finding another doctor instead of asking for a 4th attempt. I cannot recommend finding another doctors office more. Avoid this office at all costs. Dr Black cares more about money than patient health.

Incompetent and lack of concern for staff and patients.I first became aware of the total lack of a responsible plan to enforce the mask rule. A man came in and refused to ware a mask he said," it makes me nervous. "he then turned with a large smile and waved the receptionist off as a joke. At this point I and the others waiting ,expected someone to take control of this situation. This was not the responsible of the front office staff or the medical assistants.No one came to supervise the situation. On another occasion a woman was allowed to wander about the small waiting room without a mask. Again no one came to enforce the mask rule that is clearly posted on the clinic door.We were all put in a very dangerous situation at a time Florida is at it's most dangerous time for the spread of covid.This lack of responsible management is the result of complete laziness by the office manager. Apparently she does not have the ability or desirer to maintain a safe environment during this pandemic .I suggest she contact clinics that have a successful program and ask for assistance before it is too late and someone contacts covid.This is the only clinic I have been in that has a lack of supervision where the health of staff and patience are at risk.Dr. Black can not be blind to the manner her clinic is being run. Of course she knows. She is not at the clinic often but she at the very least can meet with staff and discuss this problem.Target store maintains a stricter health code then this clinic.

She violated my HIPAA rights by ceiling my employer for no reason and refuses to tell me who she spoke to and what it was regarding, She should have her license taken from her for discussing my health information with my employer, When questioned about it she blamed my medical condition on her actions, There are laws that are supposed to protect patients but its really all BS, I was also told that if I didn't like what she did, I can find another doctor, Despicable people.

5 stars!The staff is very knowledgeable, professional  and friendly. They will do what they can for you as far as making an emergency  appointment.  I was treated for a kidney stone at cape canerval hospital the previous evening/,morning.  They got me in and continued treatment i love these ladies  because they really care about their patients.  ALSO THEY DO THE MAJORITY OF THEIR OWN LABS. 5 *****

Dr. Black is a competent professional. Her office manager and front desk staff are far from competent. They have gone to far. Formal complaint to the Medical Board and National Board of Insurance are our next steps. I have asked repeatedly to speak with Dr. Black via email or phone and NOTHING. Hopefully she sees this review. She needs to know the truth.

First visit went very well. Nurse and Dr. Black took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. The nurse taking my blood sample was excellent at the task.

I love the staff at Dr Black's office. They always call me back in a timely manner. The front staff are always helpful & friendly. Even after they have answered the phone 30000 times in a row. :)Whether I am there in person or over the phone they patiently answer my questions & make me feel at ease. I started to see them because of the convenient location but now I would not trust my health with anyone else. If you need a PCP I recommend Dr Black.

I have had nothing but positive experiences for me children. They listen to our health concerns and are committed to resolving those concerns. The staff is friendly, efficient, and professional. I don't have to sit around and wait for extended periods of time and I'm able to get appointments within a more than reasonable amount of time. (Usually within the week)

They are always Accommodating and always put their patients first. The office is always clean and friendly, I even sent my dad here. I don’t know what I would do without them.

I've been dealing with Dr.Black and her staff now for 2 years since I moved to Brevard county. They are great to deal with.a glitch here and there,But all in all great! They do their own labs which makes it very convenient. The only issue is sometimes it's difficult to get through on their phone,But I usually I get through after a few tries. Other then that,Everyone remembers you and the wait time isn't too bad .I'm very pleased with this provider.
