List of Amir Shariati's Reviews
He is the BEST at what he does and explained everything in detail and came to see me in my room after I was Admitted, Office team is great
I have nothing but praise for this doctor. I had taken my mom to other doctor regarding her incontinence finally someone was able to do something that actually worked. So grateful that we found him.
I drove 4 Hrs to Dr Shariati office , upon arrival the office was full and I had a late appointment they were workin me in. Alejandra the front desk girl was happy that I made it and said “don’t worry you are here and Dr Shariati is going to take care of you.” She instantly made me feel confident and I happily waited outside for my name to be called. Dr Shariati’s medical assistants Angela and Yolanda were compassionate gentle and had a lot of patience. I was treated with respect and dignity. They were knowledgeable and took down a thorough medical history. Dr Shariati did a thorough assessment explained my condition and treatment plan. He was professional kind easy to talk too. All my questions were answered. After leaving his office, a week later, I had more questions and concerns. I called the office spoke with Olivia surgical coordinator and she relieved my concerns and answered my questions and if she did not know the answer she would seek out the answers without any hesitation. Olivia also made my initial appt and secured my surgery day after hearing my story. It was very last minute Since I had surgery scheduled with a different surgeon that was canceled due to illness. I was feeling frustrated when I initially called her. She made the process easy for me , even repeating info to me that she had already told me. I am very glad that Olivia answered the phone when I called to make an appointment and I appreciate her effort on my behalf. My surgery required 4 week recovery, fortunately Tamara had my FMLA paperwork filled out one day after faxing it to the office. This took a lot of stress off of me. It was much appreciated. Surgery day Dr Shariati came to see me before surgery which is customary but he took his time to answer questions and go over the plan for me after surgery. Dr Shariati also called me after surgery to check on me twice. I am post op day 4 incisions look good pain is manageable and used the restroom with some discomfort all to be expected. I have no regrets driving 4 hours away from home for Dr Shariati to do my surgery. He is an excellent surgeon.
I spent 4 years in the care of this doc. I was given 3 unsuccessful surgeries, put on at least 5 useless medications and dumped promptly when my insurance began denying the weekly bladder installations. I was not only in constant pain, but also developed colon issues. Upon changing docs I was given 1 surgery (new implant) changed to only 1 new medication and my bladder issues improved by 70%? I truly believe this doc was just milking my insurance with no intention of healing me ever!
Dr. Shariati was very nice on the first visit and I never saw him again even though I was in the office numerous times. The staff told me that after the first visit I could only see the NP or a nurse. The NP did all the prescribing and treatment plan. When nothing was working, after 6 visits with 3 treatments, they told me to buy the meds for the next treatment, myself, and bring it to them to use. Found anther doctor that I could actually see.
Dr shariati is the best, definitely takes his time to explain everything, is very caring and polite. He is a very, very good doctor.
Every single person in this office were so helpful!! What Dr Shariati did for me was priceless! He gave me a positive look at my future!!!
This "doctor" has a caring, kind demeanor which sucks you in but please don't fall for it. He lied about the surgery he was going to perform and caused permanent nerve damage to me (and others, I've since discovered). I had to have multiple corrective surgeries to try to fix the damage he did. Look up his medical records for yourself. My body will never be the same because of what he did and instead of taking responsibility, he referred me to a pain specialist and I never heard from him again. Horrible, horrible experience that I'm still suffering from over a decade later. Despite some positive reviews, I would warn anyone considering using him to run away and find another doctor!
I visited Dr Shariati for urinary incontinence. He discovered I also had prolapse. I scheduled a partial hysterectomy and bladder lift. Had my surgery and have never been happier. The whole process was great. He is very warm and explains everything clearly. I would recommend for this surgery. I am so much happier already
I had surgery earlier this year, performed by Dr. Amir Shariati. Throughout the whole experience - from the first appointment to the final post op appointment, Dr. Shariati and his whole team - office staff, nurses and all at the Hillsborough Blvd office were friendly, thoughtful, kind, patient and highly professional. This excellent level of care helped me through what could have been a harrowing experience, but in fact ended up being a very positive one, where I felt extremely well cared for. I thank them for this, and recommend Dr. Shariati and his staff very highly .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
