Carlos Suarez's Online Review Report Card

I had a Telehealth appointment with him via my insurance and he’s a very nice man, I needed advice on how and when I should enter back into public after being COVID positive and he was able to answer all of my questions in regards to that.

He is the best and finest surgeon you’ll ever meet

Don’t even waste your time , I’ve never in my life received such poor medical attention/ advice in my entire life. The office is not tidy there’s rust on the metal containers in the room , And no sink and the room for him to wash his hands btw clients . I had a strong urge to leave as I was seriously uncomfortable . One reason is because I brought my cd with Mamogram and ultra sounds results on it which was the reason for my visit with him . I spoke with the nurse several times and we booked the appointment once I received my result so the visit wouldn’t be a waste . Once I arrived the rn told me that he doesn’t have his computer there to read and I would need to leave the cd with him and he will read it on the next visit . I told her I would come back and reschedule my appointment mainly bc I just had a bad feeling about this entire appointment so she sends him a text he hurry’s and starts an assessment so I cloudnt leave . I never even filled out any forms, as a 1st time patient. Long story short, Basically Carlos is retired he’s cash only and thats exactly what they are there for . In these situation the doctors gets his $250 per visit and honestly I don’t think he even cares about my situation or health . This is how people are misdiagnosed all the time because of lack of physician care . Don’t visit him , I basically waisted my money and time and I still need to see a real doctor to view my situation. Just pay a doctor that still wants to work with patients and still have passion for their practice . This entire office is a disgrace I feel sorry for anyway that is under his care . I’ve never given a review this poor but I hope this helps someone . I worked in the hospital this practice is a total disgrace . People really need doctors that will do their job so they are not walking around sick bc you just want to collect cash payments as a retired physician .

One of the best surgeons in the world. Well respected by his colleagues he is humble in person and a perfectionist in practice. If in the area I would choose no one else.

He was wonderful and his Staff was amazing. He answered ALL my questions and eased my wondering mind. His saff was very helpful and informative and even helped me schedule my scans that r. Suarez requested I have done. I left the office fully prepared for my next step to recovery. I would recommend him to EVERYONE I meet. I am greatful to have met loving and caring Doctor like Dr. Suarez and his office.

Many years ago Dr. Suarez performed surgery on me and the entire experience was good. However, more recently I had a terrible experience with him on multiple levels. I was supposed to have an MRI but it was canceled no less than 6 times because he did not have the appropriate diagnosis code. The insurance company even set up a call and he didn't follow-up with them. The final straw was when I was in serious pain, called the office which said he had a "light schedule" and he never called back. There are too many good surgeons in Miami to deal with this.

I was easily able to change my appointment to a closer date when my issue became worse. Dr. Suarez's staff are friendly, capable and professional people who work in and contribute to their intimate and comfortable office that is very close to the University of Miami. Dr. Suarez explained everything to me before treatment. The process was very quick and nearly painless. I will be forever grateful for his availability and exceptional skill.
