I don't have enough words to praise Dr Shatkin and his stuff. He is an amazing doctor, a very knowledgeable specialist in wound care and very pleasant as a person.

I called the hyperbaric treatment area and spoke Cyndee to seek treatment for my failed mastectomy flaps. She immediately got me in to see Dr. Shatkin and I had a consultation. Dr. Shatkin has such great expertise with the therapy and his previous plastic surgery practice, that I chose to do 20 treatments of hyperbaric therapy. Other doctors suggested I stop midway, but Cyndee insisted I come in and see the doctor again. I felt confident with the expertise of the doctor to continue with all the treatments, and I am so pleased that I did. I saw results even after the hyperbaric treatments and continued to see Dr. Shatkin for wound care. I received excellent treatment by Dr. Shatkin and all of the nurses that I felt, I should come here and give him this excellent review. By the way, Cyndee runs the Hyperbaric area safely, efficiently and effectively.

I came to the Wound Care Center it was introduced to the doctor so I can say I was impressed from the moment I met him his bedside manner is amazing and extremely knowledgeable told me what I need to do I followed his lead and I got healed

Dr. Shatkin should be the prototype for all physicians in all fields at all hospitals in the United States. I have been through a gamut of physicians, doctor front offices and hospitals for various health ailments in the last few years. I have experienced the good and the bad, and being a newspaper reporter I am pretty observant when it comes to details. Dr. Shatkin is a credit to his profession and healthcare. His staff and Memorial Pembroke are the best of the best. They should be commended!

I am a patient of Dr. Blane T. Shark in. I have received treatment for an Ulcer on my right leg. Since knowing him he profoundly enriched my faith in the medical arena again. He’s professional, knowledgeable in his specialty of wound care. After suffering almost a year, under his care immediately I saw improvement. Soon I will be released. Thank you for your humor and kindness towards me and my family. You are class “A” in my opion.

Dr shatkin has the best bed side manner. He is kind, and caring and always makes me comfortable His expertise and knowledge for wound care is top notch. Dr Shatkin has a positive attitude which I feel is vital to the healing process of wounds. I highly recommend Dr Shatkin to anybody who is suffering with wounds and I’m confident I will heal under his care.
