2020: Dr Maratchi is a good listener so I can easily discuss issues with him. 2023: The above lasted 2 short encounters. I have to amend my review and take away stars. He's probably still a good doctor but he has no idea how to talk to patients or LISTEN to them. I have had 2 very strange encounters with Dr. Maratchi that made me very uncomfortable and dismissed. I discussed it with him and it got weirder. He did not take my concerns about my health seriously, never addressed them at all and instead had a judgmental and critical attitude about everything I said, and put me down whenever he could. It almost sounded like he was talking to someone else. He said some off the wall things I've never heard a doctor say, and he said it was his sense of humor. That's supposed to be humor? I asked him. No, something is wrong here. He's dismissive, sarcastic (which is NOT humor by the way---look it up, it's meant to show contempt), rather deliberately tried to toss me aside, figuratively I mean. Strangest encounter I've ever had with a doctor. Maybe he's going through a midlife crisis, I don't know, but I will never let a doctor treat me that way again.

Best place to get a colonoscopy. Dr Maratchi is the best! The entire staff is fantastic and Tatiana gave me the best sleep I have had in a long time. I went in for my initial appt and was scheduled doe the next day as someone had cancelled. 3rd time with Dr Maratchi and his crew. Thanks!!!!

Awesome Doctor! Takes time to listen to any concerns and answers all your questions. You don't feel rushed and the wait time is never bad. I highly recommend.

On the day I came to the office check in was quick and efficient. I was called in for my vitals and med history after only few minute wait. Was promptly brought to exam room and my doctor came in right away. Exam and consult were completed quickly and all follow-up instructions were given. Very pleased with the visit.

I have had the privilege to have Dr. Marachi has my gastro for many years! He has always been kind, caring and a great listener! Sees you prior to a procedure and makes sure you understand what will be done! After my colonoscopy and endoscopy, he personally class with the results! Please don’t judge him on the call center!

We love Dr. Moratchi very patient, competent and careful. Listen to us as long as it takes. 😃 I recommend him to everyone. He is the best!!! Only one thing to complain, when we go to make appointments by phone, people are not patient and keep you waiting a long time on the phone. But… that will never be a reason to stop going to that doctor! He's 10! The best!!! I feel safe! Thank you so much for everything!😃🙏

This was not the first time I have seen or had a procedure done by Dr Maratchi and I have always felt that I was receiving the best care by a very qualified professional!! Not to sound corny but I truly trust him with my life!!! The staff at memorial west could not be better as well!!
