Dr. Fonseca is extremely personable and answers all of your questions thoroughly. She takes her time when you see her which is comforting. However once you leave the office it’s almost impossible to get them on the phone, and you most definitely won’t be able to speak to her. I had been to the ER several times when first diagnosed and when we called her the np would never put her on the phone, and took over 24 hours to call us back, and never called back to check and see how I was feeling. It happened more than once when I needed her during a hospital visit and unfortunately have been looking for another doctor for these reasons. I also don’t like her office. It’s not very nice and every time I have an appointment I wait for over an hour.

Dr. Fonseca is truly an amazing physician. She truly cares about her patients and their well being. The time that she spends with her patients during consults is amazing and she explains everything thoroughly and wants to make sure you understand everything that is going on with your diagnoses and treatment moving forward. She is truly an excellent neurologist and I would highly recommend her to anyone whom is ever in need of one!
