Best doctor for laser in Miami hands down! I have been a patient of Dr. Joely Kaufman for over five years and I am consistently impressed by her expertise, professionalism and caring bedside manner. She takes her time with you and really listens. She genuinely cares about her patients and doesn't push products or treatments, as some other cosmetic dermatologists do. I was actually initially referred to her by two other leading local dermatologists who also offer laser treatments but told me that I would be better off going to Dr. Kaufman because she is the leader in the field. I refer all my friends and clients to Dr. Kaufman.

Dr. Kaufman has been my dermatologist for decades. There is no one more professional and knowledgeable. This is an area of medicine that is constantly changing, procedures evolving, and methods that are more responsive than a year ago. Dr. Kaufman keeps current on all of it and that means she spends a great deal of time on training and education. This office is one of very few that also can afford to stay relevant with new equipment, modern lasers and every possible piece of machinery available in the US. I'm sure other dermatologists are enviable because this is an office unlike any other, considering the late, great Dr. Brandt started and researched here.In addition to cosmetic procedures, Dr. Kaufman has kept my very white, pristine skin safe from serious dangers that we residents face from living in a place like Miami. I highly recommend.

Dr. Kaufman has seen me and my family for everything from rashes, acne, and skin cancers, to lasers, botox and fillers. We have always been impressed not only with her immediate solutions to any issues that arise, but also by her calm and assuring demeanor.  As for injecting, her work is an art form. She achieves a look that is completely natural, which is rare these days. She takes her time to give thourough examinations, and never makes the patient feel as though she is rushed, even though her waiting room shows that she is clearly in high demand.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kaufman's for over a year now. She is a wonderful dermatologist, and I am very picky about my doctors. I was referred to her by a friend and she has been kind, patient, attentive, and most importantly, effective, as a doctor. I have seen her for sudden issues (fire ant bites), for regular checkups, and for laser treatments. She has been wonderful on all three. My skin has not looked this great in years. In terms of the office, I never have to wait too long, she and the staff are professional and kind, and the co-pay with my insurance is very reasonable. It is rare to find a doctor who doesn't keep you waiting yet provides her full attention and patiently listens to all of your questions and concerns. Dr. Kaufman is great! I also highly recommend the facialist at this office - Melissa - she works wonders on your skin!

Great Doctor!! Very sweet, makes you feel comfortable and knows her stuff!!

I saw Dr. Kaufman for a 20 minute routine checkup nearly a year ago. Not only was the bill very high after insurance ($160+), but she called my emergency contact and left a voicemail with my biopsy results (i.e. left personal medical results on a voicemai!).  Now, 8 months later I received another bill for $169.65 from the University of Miami saying that I have to pay for the biopsy lab work conducted last summer. I explained to Brandt's office that I already paid, but they say that the additional bill I received from the University of Miami has nothing to do with them and that they couldn't help me (even though they outsourced the lab work). So now I am paying $300+ for a 20 minute visit with a doctor.Overall, I have received better customer service from the University of Miami - a university hospital - than from a money making dermatology machine. I'm happy to pay premium prices for premium service.  But this was poor service at astronomical prices.

Really is interested in patient..charming & pretty also!! Love her.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Joely Kaufman after having tried 7 different dermatologist. I truly thank God for doctors like her, she was wonderful, she took her time to listen to my present concern. Asked a lot of questions which really surprised me, because I was used to having doctors coming in an out of the room rapidly. She showed compassion and educated me on her decision to perform laser as well as other treatment options. I had laser treatments done before by other doctors assistants, never by the doctor. The fact that she performed lasers on me brought a lot of peace for me. Dr. Kaufman was extremely professional and it is evident that her goal is to help her clients as much as possible. Her heart is of gold and I will certainly give her 4 out of stars. Best dermatologist by far!!!!
