Dr. Bengochea has been my children’s pediatrician since birth, my son is 12 and my daughter 11 and I wouldn’t change him for any other doctor. He is sincere, polite, reliable, and very knowledgeable. But most importantly he is passionate about his work and he cares for each and every one of his patients.

Great Doctor for your children. He is a well known and respected Doctor with many years of experience. Great bedside manors. Highly recommended.

I have been taking all 3 of my children here and love this office. I am always able to be fit in if its an emergency but I am also aware when you are fit in there will be a wait. The wait is never bad, as most md offices in general it is very normal to wait almost an hour. I have no complaints and recommend Dr.Bengochea. He is one of those doctors that always looks outside of the box as well when treating my kids.

Dr. Bengochea was my pediatrician as a child. He has always treated my family and I with exceptional service and care. Now, I am taking my daughter to him, he always listens to my concerns and takes the time with his patient. I trust him as a medical professional.

Dr. Bengochea has been my kids pediatrician for 20 years. He is an excellent Dr. but last time I came all his staff was new and suck. I don’t like his wife either. His office was better when he was alone. My youngest son will be 18 soon, so I guess is time to star looking for a new doctor, but we still love him.

Great service, Doctor Bengochea has a lot experience when it comes to the care for our precious babies. My friend recommended him and his been in the family over 25 years with them. To me it was very important to have a doctor that would care for my daughter not just a number. I made the right choice, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a doctor with a passion for kids health.

Truthfully one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a doctors office. Our initial pediatrician is Pedro Lopez MD which we loved dearly. However, given that his practice closed our daughters chart was supposed to be transferred over to Dr. Bengochea. I called and scheduled an appointment with Dania since my daughter has a really bad cold and she has renal agenesis. Dania attempted to schedule the appointment a week from now. I mentioned we needed the appointment as soon as possible, and she then scheduled it for the following day at 2:00 PM. At that point, I asked that she confirm that they had received our daughters medical chart and she said they had not. I called Dr. Lopez office once again and Alexandra told me that the files had been sitting waiting to be picked up for weeks now, and despite multiple notifications no one from Dr. Bengocheas office had bothered to pick them up. I asked for Alexandra to send over to the important insurance and vaccine history to Dr. Bengocheas office and she confirmed it would be sent immediately.Today, when we arrived at the office there was no parking and the check in presence customer service was terrible. I told the woman at the front desk that I was there for a 2:00 appointment and she responded "Do you have an appointment or are you a walk in?" ...(Really?) It took them approximately 15 minutes to give me the new patient chart documents to be filled out. When filling out the given documents I noticed the redundancy of information asked (most of which is in our file at Dr. Lopez's office).Dr. Marquez approached me and said that they are really trying to help everyone and that they have taken Dr. Lopez's files as a favor to him. She then stated that they have not been able to pickup files as they have been very busy. Dr. Marquez proceeded to mention that it would be another hour and a half before my daughter could be seen (we had already waited for over 50 minutes with a scheduled appointment). I was asked once again for my daughters insurance information which they should have already had from the previous medical chart as nothing had changed. She then said that by law they cannot see me without payment and recommended that I go to Miami Childrens Hospital. Additional information that I did not need such as that Dr. Marquez is on leave and is not actively practicing because she just had a grandson and her daughter got engaged was mentioned). I assume this was supposed to make me empathetic to their lack of order and poor service. Another person walked into the office when we were in the middle of a conversation and Dr. Marquez immediately cut me off and started talking to the other patients mother to then get back to conversing with me (highly unprofessional). She wrapped up our conversation stating that perhaps this was not the office for me and that some patients wait four to five hours to be seen by her and Dr. Bengochea. I then asked for all the pages that I filled out and signed and left with my child to find another place that could be able to properly diagnose and treat my daughter as they did not have the common courtesy or sensibility to do so. All in all, if I could give them 0 stars I would.

I can say that Doctors Marquez and Dr. Bengoechea are some of the best people, very professional, with a big hearts; They have always been there to help everyone. My children have gone to the office since they were very young with, treating my kids like if they were his. They are now over the age of 24 and hold much respect to Dr. Bengoechea and Dr. Marquez.I see negative comments of people who lack patience the doctors love assisting their patients and customers, sometime they have a lot going on so one could get impatient, but the wait is worth the care and treatment from the staff. They accept pretty much every insurance company and receive very little pay when it comes from their customers. If you do not like the wait, I suggest hiring a family doctor to come into your house without wait.I love this care center, and if my kids weren't over age for this place, I'm sure they would still want to go.
