Long waits. Services are very questionable related to insurance. Do not recommend. Feels like McDonalds of dentists. I switched to a new place.

Do yourself a favor and please do not come to this place. They are extremely shady with the cost, I was supposed to have full coverage for a cleaning here and somehow ended up getting quoted $150 out-of-pocket. Also, they had me there an hour, taking x-rays and doing an exam, and then at the end of that they tell me that we can’t get the cleaning done because the hygienist called in sick. They had me come in at 8 AM to do an oral evaluation that I didn’t need, just to not get the cleaning, which is what I actually came for. Needless to say, I will not be coming back, and will not be getting anything done here. Please do not waste your time and come here.

I showed up to Sage Dental as a new patient and did not have a good experience. I was told i dont have any cavities and everything looks good, but that I needed a deep cleaning that wasn't covered in my insurance (~ $500 dollars). The Hygienist then came in and refused to provide me the cleaning within my insurance because it was against the Drs orders. I did not feel they had my best interest in mind, but were more focused on upselling me, so i left.

I've been a client of Sage Dental of Coral Gables for two years. I chose them specifically because of their location and at the time they had good reviews. I've called it quits on them most recently because I always have an issue at my appointment. Either I'm sitting waiting for them to provide my service or they haven't scheduled me properly and they can't complete a service. I've been trying to get a teeth cleaning service and every time I schedule an appointment I mention to them I want it done and then when I arrive at the appointment they tell me it wasn't included in the appointment and they don't have time to do it. It's frustrating to me that they don't value my time.

Endless rescheduling. Most of my appointments "had to be postponed" at the last minute. Disrespectful of patient's time.

Echoing the other reviews that noted long, long wait times for treatment and shady billing/ cost estimates. I went in as a new patient and ended up in the chair for almost two hours without even receiving a cleaning. The hygienist and billing specialist both discussed with me a 'deep cleaning', which would cost over $2,200 after insurance. They refused to do a regular cleaning (fully covered by my Insurance) after I decided against the deep cleaning. Had two cavities filled at a reasonable price but overall the experience felt like a scam. Would not recommend.

Made an appointment in the Gables because it was closer to my home than my usual dentist. Went in for my annual checkup and cleaning and after the xrays, I was told that I had to do a deep cleaning. No cavities, yet I needed a deep cleaning. I ask the staff that I just wanted a regular cleaning and they said that I had to come back on a different day once my insurance is contacted to get cost for deep cleaning. I asked again that I didn't want a deep cleaning and hygienist and dentist both said that they can't do a regular cleaning if I "need" a deep cleaning. After two months of waiting to hear back from them for the cost, I went to my old dentist and got my regular cleaning and checkup.

This is the first dentist I have ever visited that is not upfront with their costs. They charged me for items without discussing the prices, so I assumed it was like EVERY other dentist I have been to before that provides complimentary items after a cleaning. Watch out for this Dentist! They do not care for patients. They are frauds who want to sell floss for $5 and mouthwash for $40.

Same experience as others, unnecessary deep clean + $600 treatment I did not request, they did it anyway, I asked them to cancel, and I am still getting billed for it - do not recommend
