Sunset Plastic Surgery's Online Review Report Card

My experience with Dr Z was great at first. I was happy with the results. Fast forward several years, I started developing repeated abscesses on my breast during what was supposed to be the best year of my life- getting married, starting a new job, etc. When I say abscesses, I mean the most excruciating pain I've ever felt, followed by a huge swelling of fluid, and needed to get repeated surgery to drain it. No doctors could figure out what was wrong with me. Finally I found a new amazing plastic surgeon who realized that Dr Z's 'dissolvable' stitches could still be left in me 7 years later. She completed a much more invasive surgery than the original to go correct the problem and dug out many remnants of stitches on both my breasts that had been causing me repeated issues, and quite frankly took over my life for 1.5 years. It was filled with immense pain, confusion, frustration, and so many doctors and medical bills. She told me the specific suture technique that was done caused my body to reject and not breakdown the sutures, and therefore I fought a local infection in my breasts for years unknowingly. I really wish I could get the past 18 months of my life back. I hope he has more experience now than he did then, and I'm sure he does, but I'm posting this because I just hope no one else ever has to suffer for as long as I did for side effects from ages old surgery. If I could talk to myself back then, I would tell myself that the plastic surgery was NEVER worth it. I regret getting the surgery daily.

I researched the procedures that I wanted and watched results across FB groups for years - there isn't a surgeon out here who has as consistent of results on all body shapes and sizes as Dr. Ziyad. He is not called "The G.O.A.T" for no reason! Dr. Ziyad is truly an artist who happens to be an immaculate plastic surgeon. Dr. Ziyad has so many of his patients (dare I say all?) - no matter the size or shape - walk out of that office feeling like they never have. He certainly did that for me. I cannot sing his praises enough. He's made me feel more confident and much more beautiful than I, truly, ever have. That's not all, his bedside manner and post-op care is truly remarkable. Dr. Ziyad goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. I have certainly benefited from his care even when I wasn't a fresh post-op patient, he continued to explain and advise on my care. Last, but certainly not least, how many times have you loved a doctor but not been fond of the staff? Well, that won't happen here. Literally, each and every person from start (Nora - a true gem) to finish (apologies, I don't remember their names since it was right around the surgery) were so attentive and very professional. It's the whole team for me!

I recently underwent a mommy makeover, along with a posterior body lift, bra line lift, and breast lift, and I couldn’t be any happier with my results so far. Dr. Ziyad and his staff are truly exceptional. From the initial consultation to the post-operative care, the entire process has been smooth and supportive. Dr Ziyad is truly an amazing artist with the work he does transforming the body to a beautiful piece of art. I followed his page for months and saw all the amazing results he did on other ladies and new he was the only surgeon I wanted to do my Mommy Makeover after losing 80 lbs. I am already planning to return next year for round 2 of the rest of my body. I am referring all of my family and friends that want work to him. Not only is he an amazing Dr but the entire staff is also. I could not have asked for a better experience from the beginning to the end!

After months upon months of researching doctors and figuring out what all I wanted/needed, I ran to book my consultation with Dr. Ziyad! Just seeing his work and reviews, spoke volumes to me. This man has a gift!!! Within my first phone call/consultation I booked my surgery. I had that much confidence in Dr. Ziyad! He more than proved to me why they call him the goat! 🐐 Everyone at Sunset Plastic Surgery has given me the 5 star royal treatment. All of my questions were answered promptly and my concerns put to rest. His team put together a list of trusted hotels & restaurants near the office, along with recommended recovery houses, and lists for pre & post op items needed. I am two weeks post op today and if I look and feel this good now, I can only imagine how great my results will be months from now! I'm literally crying happy tears while writing this review. Y'all, do yourself a favor and at least book the consultation! Dr. Ziyad is the best!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ziyad since 2020. I can not begin to describe how grateful I am for him. He is the absolute best ! He is extremely talented at what he does and it shows. His professionalism and manners are beyond expectation. His work is unmatched. There is no other surgeon I would ever go to. I have had 3 procedures done with him and every time it has been such a wonderful experience. His private practice is so clean and organized. His staff, amazing ! They have made every experience so easy. I have never felt more comfortable. Having surgery is scary but Dr. Ziyad and his staff have always made me feel so safe. Thank you Dr. Ziyad and your wonderful staff for everything ! I can never thank you enough.

Dr. Z and his team have taken tremendous care of my mom for two separate major procedures in back-to-back years. She looks fantastic and has been thrilled with their service and care.

Dr Z and his Team are definitely THE GOAT!!!! I have had two different procedures and I am 100% satisfied. If I need or wanted anything else I would definitely go back. My process from beginning to end I can't say anything bad. I even had questions 12 plus weeks post op and I got an immediate response. Thank you so much for my beautiful transformation and boost of confidence!!!

Review change/update- Deposit policy prohibited me from securing a date within 30 days. The nonrefundable $500 deposit is required before the doctor’s availability can be checked. This in no way takes away from Dr Ziyads work I see shared in the surgeons FB group. I spoke with coordinator about the policy; resulting in no success in scheduling. Maybe another time when scheduling further out.
