I thank you for solving my foot problem .Please I just want to express my gratitude to your staff ,the wonderful members at the hospital and your surgery staff .We need more Doctors like yourself who care.
I have seen him three times now for different feet related issues. He has been wonderful. I don't usually wait long and he has always been spot on about how to solve my problems. I appreciate that he gave me practical solutions rather than suggesting something like custom orthotics. I know those can be good for some people, but as a 30 something year old female it's just not practical.
Dr. MacGill has a "wait and see" approach that caused my loved one their life. Please go seek a second opinion. Also, he's spread thin between his other locations. All his time is accounted for. I wished that my family was never referred to him. In addition, PLEASE do not go to his hospital North West Hospital in Margate! Please pass go and DO NOT collect the $200! Please I beg! GET A SECOND OPINION, IT CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE!
Do not trust them to verify your insurance correctly. Make sure to check for yourself. It will save you time and stress later if you get a bill from them later. After "verifying" my insurance 3 times, I got a bill for almost $3,000. Thankfully, they realized it was their mistake and wrote it off. And the dr was great, but between their office staff and billing staff... no thank you.
Great doctor and staff! I take my 99 year old father there every 6 weeks and he loves Dr. MacGill too!
Doctor takes the time to explain everything but the office especially the reception desk is all centered around collecting the co-pay totally focused on money not focused on the patient
t tried making an appointment and they hang up on me
The doctors are good, but the “business” of the practice is awful. Always long wait in the office and you don’t get seen until well after your appointment time. Also,, you cannot call the office directly. All calls go through a centralized call center where you wait on hold for as long as 20 minutes to speak to a call rep. It’s like institutional medicine. Totally disconnected from the patient. If you want personalized service and a good patient experience this is not the place for you
Saw him in 2 different offices over the last 3 weeks, he is very well informed and professional in his manner. I did ask.him for 2 references from former patients..
Dr. MacGill was fine, the office is a rip off. They want to charge you up front an arbitrary amount via a charge card, then when my insurance company EOB comes I was overcharged by $127. Instead of sending me a refund, I had to call and then be directed to their website to complete a "Refund Request". This is poor business practice, you overcharged me and I should not have to "request" a refund. Why can't that office bill the patient like any other doctor's office does after insurance pays? They wanted their money upfront and of course it was more than I should of paid and then you make me request my money back. Scam.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
