Baptist Health South Florida's Online Review Report Card

My son went in for a covid test which was conducted by a nurseassistant. They did nothing other than conduct the test not even a temperature check and they are charging us $569 he went in 3x for EACH VISIT. They did not divulge that they were charging us for an office visit prior to our visit. We will never go back to a Baptist Health facility for ANY Healthcare service.

The worse place to call for medical help nobody answers you.

Very rude unprofessional staff who I wouldn’t trust with any level of medical care either for myself or my children. The woman we spoke to was short and condescending and even offered us information that turned out to be an outright lie. There are other urgent care centers in the area and I am certain this particular one won’t be around much longer. Learn from my mistake and wasted time keep driving…

This place has horrible customer service with employees that have very bad attitudes. Also be prepared to wait double the time they tell you.

I was in at 330 Friday night just a day ago. The service was amazing. They explained everything in detail and then took my phone number and asked me to wait in my car. I only waited 20 min before they called me and asked me to come in and they would buzz me in. The staff was so curtious. I would definitely recommend this facility and I have been to several in Coral Springs and Parkland.

Tried to go here for help mitigating symptoms of a viral infection that I believed to be the flu based on the onset and symptoms that I was having. I was told rudely by an older gentlemen unsure if he was a nurse or physician that no ones getting the flu any more because of the masks only corona ???. They wouldn’t let me even be seen without charging me for the corona test that I told them I didn’t want. Since both flu and corona are viral why would that change treatment options for muscle aches why I went there? It seems like they’re just trying to push the paid for corona test.

Everyone at this location is great. But if you have a billing issue the main billing department is the worst. Talked to two different unhelpful customer service representatives.Went in for Covid test insurance will pay since PCM doesnt do testing. Baptist billed it as an office visit though I never saw a Doctor. Explained that my insurance asked them to change it to Covid test from Office Visit to pay. The first person said that my insurance company always says the codes are wrong and no they could not change the code. Second one said sorry insurance company can call Baptist if they have an issue and no not changing the code. It is a large insurer seems like an ongoing issue that Baptist should fix.Also this location told me Covid test was $150 yet they billed my insurance $450 for that Office Visit. If youre paying cash go ahead and use this location. As for me Ill never use any Baptist Health facility again purely because of their billing department.

Terrible front desk people. Failed me to provide simple insurance information. Also I needed a medical clearance form for a swimming test and she said they don’t have a pool there . OBVIOUSLY I know that I just needed the medical clearance. They lack of knowledge is very poor.
