Benjamin Graber's Online Review Report Card

Dr Graber and his staff are some of the most caring medical professionals I have dealt with. They really listen to me and don't treat me like I am faking it. To those of you who think they are scamming your insurance, I have never had a problem with them.

I used to go here for a few years until he started making me come in every 6 months for a pap smear just to refill my birth control prescription even though all doctors usually give you a full year and only need to do a pap smear once a year. I think theyre committing fraud here with the insurances. insurances only cover for one Wellness visit a year. Will be switching doctors. So disappointed. I asked the front staff and they literally said theres a law that states he has to do that every 6 months. a joke.

I would NOT recommend this doctor at all. For any existing & new patients, I strongly urge you to double check with your insurances of any payment that you are responsible for time of service & also check with your insurance what was billed. See if it adds up.Here is why: my mom was scheduled for a biopsy & was told that her insurance would NOT cover the anesthesia. We tripled checked with her insurance and they advised that it WAS covered if her pcp sent over a referral. Which they did. Crystal refused to accept the referral & said that if my mom didn’t pay the $250 for the anesthesia (because insurance didn’t not cover) she wasn’t able to have her biopsy done & that she had to cancel her appointment.Well, she saw an amazing Obgyn, staff was very professional & she ended up doing the biopsy in initial visit & DID NOT require anesthesia. Or any additional payment except her copay. Look at that! What ever this office has going on, it’s FRAUD! It’s disgusting to see how doctors office are so quick to take advantage of people through these tough times everyone is going through. They should be ashamed!

DR.  Graber has been my GYNfor 35 years,  I think he is totally competent,  and love his bedside manner.  however when I saw him yesterday,  he was not wearing a mask,  he said it's because he had uv light all over the office.  I would have left if  i didnt know him,  but i didnt .  i was talking face to face with him without social distance.  I and the staff were wearing masks.  I am frightened and upset.  Has anyone else had the same experience.?  He told me he didnt need to wear one with the uv light.  Something strikes me as very wrong,  and now i am worried.

My issue is the billing practice of this office. In 2019, I was given an invoice with 3 years worth of service which my insurance company had already paid for but the stellar billing staff never credited my account. To this day I am still fighting to get credit for all paid services. The billing staff and receptionist are extremely rude and unwilling to assist. They keep blaming the doctor. My last outstanding bill from 2016 was paid by the insurance company with the exception of $ 35. I was provided with the invoice for the first time in 2019. I had pay the $ 35 out of pocket since it was too late for the insurance to pay. It been two weeks since I sent the check and they still haven't cashed it. Also the insurance paid the agreed upon $102 but the billing staff are showing $ 250 on the invoice. They can only bill what the insurance agreed upon - which they were paid in 2016. While I did like Dr Graber. He is a good doctor- his office staff is an extension of his practice which is leaving a black eye on an otherwise good practice. He deserved the 4 stars - his staff not so much

Dr Graber was beyond excellent, he did the entire body/glands check ( what a gyn must do) , listen to my concerns and of really important he was gentle doing my pap smear. Will definitely come back for my check up. Nurses are also excellent and respectful, first visit with a doctor you always have a lot of concerns , they nurses were really helpful.

I have now seen Dr. Graber 3 times and I must say, I really enjoy having him as my doctor. It's very evident that he knows what he's doing. He always listens to my concerns and never discounts what I'm saying. His nurse Charlotte is also amazing. I always look forward to seeing her. Can't say enough positive things about this office.
