Broward Health Coral Springs's Online Review Report Card

My wife was admitted to the hospital with a bad liver and received negligent lousy care. The doctors were unavailable and let my wife die in pain after two days. No matter what i did i could not get any of the prima donna doctors to respond. They failed us and allowed my wife to die in discomfort. Good luck if you end up in this facility and you depend on health care. Better off anywhere else. I tried to sue them but this is facility has special protection against lawsuits so they conduct themselves accordingly. What a $hole.

Based off of my personal experience I will never return to any Broward Health facilities and will discourage anyone I interact with to do the same due to my horrific experience with Dr. Carmen Ruiz. This was the worst doctor I have ever heard of and unfortunately had to experience. She does not care about her patients and rushes you out undiagnosed as quickly as possible. My symptoms were not thoroughly listened to and I was sent home at no attempt to identify the cause of my problem after one test turned up with no answer. I have since had to go to another healthcare facility that took the time to identify my problem and course of treatment. Dr. Ruiz should not be allowed to practice medicine anywhere especially in a hospital. Patients who visit Broward Health are not safe under Dr. Ruiz’s care. I am in complete disbelief.

I had a great experience with their maternity team. They were caring gave birth to my three girls there no problem.

THE WORST...... Someone in the room across from me had covid and just tested positive for i dont know if the guy was her nurse or doctor but he yelled it from the door and he was very loud so i heard everything after the lady left someone went to clean the room the same guy then yelled from the other room oh she has covid the lady looked at him and he said just letting you knowi dont care and all she did was change the sheets then rolled another patient in there my nurse was everywhere without a glove even pulled my mask down to give me pills DISGUSTED isnt that a HIPAA violation going to get tested in a few days because i hated how my nurse pulled my mask down and took my IV out without gloves .DONT GO THERE

Worst hospital stayMy husband was given sheets with blood stains on it. Blood that was not hisThe food tray was sticky and nasty to the touch. How is one to regain their appetite using thisThe curtain dividing the room had stains on it presumably stains that look like blood. Extremely unsightly turning your head not feeling well to see this.The night stand was falling apart. Chips were falling off when it was touched or anything was placed on it. Simply answering the phone caused chips to fall off the night standThe shower head holder was broken in his bathroom. Patients are expected to shower holding the shower head.Garbage was left on the floor next to the trash can for 2 days my husband watched the cleaning lady empty the trash and disregard the trash on the floor.Guest relations is a joke showed no empathy to our concerns. Jocelyn feliz claims the food trays are supposed to be sticky. And Summer Marrero seemed bothered by my complaints.

My son got sick and we were on the pediatric floor. First thing first that floor is so outdated. Everything is old and broken and the tv in my room didnt even work. It was static. I asked for my breast milk I had in the fridge and the nurses took forever to bring it. I remember 25 minutes went by and still no milk. Just an upset 2month old. Im a breastfeeding mama the food is horrendous. I cant even get my daily intake with the terrible food they serve. I only drank water and ate graham crackers.. I will not be returning to this hospital. All the staff have terrible accents and its so hard to understand with the masks on. Its 1am and I could hear the nurses all laughing and speaking so loudly as if there arent patients asleep. And they are so unorganized. Everytime I got little man to relax and go to sleep they always come in for either vitals or to check this or to check that and always waking him up. And then they just leave. As if they didnt just wake him up. My stay was long enough to know I will not return to this hospital.

This is the worst hospital I do NOT advise anyone on going there I took my 1 year old there with high fever and waited almost 3 hours in the lobby without assistance finally a nurse came out to give him Motrin and sent us back to the lobby. After waiting for so long I decided to leave and take him to Boca West turns out my son had pneumonia. This people charged me over 400 for simply taking his temperature. I called in to see why I received this bill and was told that since he went through triage I was charged and to keep in mind to next time take him to his doctor instead of the emergency as if his doctor works 10pm on the weekend.

Huge wait every time. Freezing inside no blankets available. This emergency room is just as bad as any other.

Hospital is filthy dirty Came in last Thursday there was throw up all over the floor near the checkin desk and nobody cleaned it the whole time i waited which was around 3040 min Floors in elevator corners piled up with dirt and garbage Came back today for a re check and hospital sooo filthy For being sooooo worried about spreading covid u would think they would clean and keep the place sanitary Absolutely disgusting This hospital went down hill

I had major surgery and was put in the maternity ward for recovery because the other units in the hospital was full. My experience with this hospital was great from registration to preop to my stay. Everyone I came into contact with was genuinely friendly. My nurses were Mimi and Roberta in the maternity ward and they were absolutely great Thank you for an enjoyable experience.
