Dr. Sofer is amazing! She & the staff at this practice are a breath of fresh air after dealing with my husbands' former urologist. I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Sofer after a nasty kidney stone experience & she has since performed outpatient surgery on me. She also sees my husband. She is patient & kind, as well as thorough. You can't go wrong with Dr. Sofer!

I went to Dr Sofer on June 17 for kidney stones. On June 23 I was admitted for emergency care at Broward Health for a kidney stone attack. I was unable to have surgery there because there were no urologists that took my insurance! I now have to wait until July 27th for my first non-evasive surgery and an evasive surgery on August 10th. I have put several calls into Natalie who is Dr. Sofer’s assistant and have received no call backs: 1. Am I still to take Flomax? 2. How long will surgeries take? Am I still to take hypertension pills along with Flomax as they both lower blood pressure? Flomax was prescribed by Broward Health as were Ibuprofen and recently high blood pressure meds from primary care. They make me dizzy so have quit both of them. I met Dr Sofer once and have heard from no one since!

Dr. Sofer is amazing! She took the time to answer all my questions and has a wonderful bedside manner. All of the office staff are amazing as well. Highly recommend!

I found Dr. Sofer to be very compassionate and very knowledgeable. She was able to clearly explain the latest laser techniques (there is more than one) for prostrate surgery for BPH - and the pro and cons for me compared to traditional TURP methods for healing time and results-- and the pros and cons of waiting. I asked a lot of questions, but she patiently took all the time she needed to thoroughly answer my questions.
