List of Pediatric Associates's Reviews
My son is 17 and has attended this pediatrician’s office his entire life. Dr. Chresnick performed circumcision. Was not advised that Dr. Chresnick and Liang had retired and the practice sold. Made an appointment for annual check up and was asked if a new patient. Apparently my sons chart was not migrated into the new system. Appointment started on time height weight blood pressure, hearing and eyesight tested then sat in the room for over 35 minutes before seeing a physician. Total time of appointment 1 hour 50 minutes. Unacceptable.
They give appointment and make you sit for 2 hours. Under staff and bad service.
Currently looking for a new pediatrician. I used to love this office and the doctors. My son, who is 18months and can be a handful because of associating the doctors with being held down and getting a shot. My son ALWAYS sat still and was able to feel calm with his original doctors. This office was purchased and the company switched to Pediatric Associates and the two doctors we used to see retired around the same time. We continued to go for the last few visits but the service is awful, waiting for 30-45mins with a toddler in the lobby then another wait 20-30 in the room is unacceptable. Also have had 2 experiences with a specific doctor that I was not happy about. Just went for the last time today when the doctor treated my son like a dangerous animal throwing his hands back as he was not cooperating to sit still. He acted as if my son was going to bite him or something - it was insane. The doctor did not take any time to try to make my son comfortable - just came in and started touching him and sternly telling me to hold my son down and his arms better. More happened that I was unpleased about but no need to exhaust the point that we are not happy and will not return.
I called before requesting a referral for a blood test for my daughter, they said no problem and booked an appointment. Once we arrived we paid and then they claimed they cannot give her a referral due to needing a check up, which was not mentioned before when going over her file on the phone, and refused to give her a check up that day. After that we asked them if they can at least return our money for the appointment since we received no service and didn’t even get to speak to the doctor. Not only did they say no but were EXTREMELY rude to my mother. Horrible experience and services!!! Will not be returning after being patients for years…
Was happy to find a local doctor not under a larger corporation style company when our daughter was born. My review would have been 5 stars if the ownership was still the same and Dr. Liang was here. I understand though individuals do retire, but the majority of the original staff appear to be gone. Things were always great at Coral Springs Pedatrics, but since Pedatric Associates bought this location a lot has changed aside from some of the doctors retiring. Extremely hard to get someone on the phone, have been unsuccessful getting someone on the phone since the switched. iPads are now used for signing documents that were previously with Coral Springs Pediatrics by paper. Only 1 parent in the room with a child due to Covid procedures. Unfortunately this entire process is naive if your waiting room is filled with people waiting in an excessive amount of time, let alone the iPad process with numerous people using them. I haven't seen them cleaned between use or even a sign saying they get cleaned between use. The used and unused pen cups was a better option. Literally the last 3 times I been in, they have asked for our insurance card to put on record, doesn't seem like it's getting saved. A few times I was told there was no charge despite I advised I have a copay with my policy. Found out recently they still had my old insurance on file. Most likely switching doctors due to the number of changes in management and owner change. Just doesn't feel very personal anymore.Your now just a number here. Sad.
Coral square pediatrics was a fantastic place to take your child too. The staff and doctors were always professional and gave the up most care for your child’s medical needs. I always referred this office to anyone I knew looking for a pediatric doctor. After going for nearly 10 years they are now taken over by Pediatric Associates, who I originally left after waiting an hour in and a half to be seen with my one week old daughter. The staff is rude and unprofessional. They have none of my information over the last several years and are giving the hardest time to fill a prescription. There is no regard for what my child will experience from this chaos they call a doctors office. I am deeply disappointed that they managed to turn a wonderful doctors office into a run of the mill, cold, un-caring facility. You’re nothing but a number to Pediatric associates. I will not ever return.
This office used to be good until Dr. Liang left and sold to peds associates. It is now ran like a factory. Today my visit was horrible and we will not return! The APRN (Allyson) was so rude and unprofessional. She walked in didn't even sit or introduce herself. Talked so fast and said rude comments during her assessment. She also got called out of the room multiple times in the 5 minutes she was in there. It was disgusting! My concerns were not addressed, and she scoffed when I told her another doctor recommended a specialist for my child. I understand the understaffing but as a medical professional myself I don't care how busy I am I never show it to the patients. They need a whole new staff of Dr's and Nurse practioners. I will not be returning. I've been with you for 8 years.
Unacceptable. To sit there for an HOUR and 45 minutes AFTER your scheduled appointment time, to then be told the Dr. didn't know they had a patient..... UNACCEPTABLE! Then the office manager says its an issue with a system transition between the old and new systems. Pediatric Associates has been in business for many many years, there is no way that there has NEVER been an office merger/transition. There should have been a better process in place and this should have been an seamless transition. However, that is not what occurred. Also, Pediatric Associates is KNOWN for overbooking their schedule and not providing enough time for their physicians to see their patient adequately. Our appointment was one of the first appointments of the day, to avoid this situation however... that did not help. We used to love this office when Dr. Cheresnick was there, I can no longer say I have that same feeling. Unbelievably disappointed, to say the least.
I would have always referred anyone looking for a pediatrician to coral square pediatrics, they have always been amazing... until they became corporate and merged with pediatric associates. I am not sure how much longer my children will be patients here. The small, family oriented feel is gone. You don’t feel like family, you’re just another patient now and not to mention the wait time is your typical LONG pediatric associates wait. Dr Cheresnik & Dr Liang are gone so the wait isn’t even worth it. We’re sticking it out for now because we are happy with Veronica, and a few of the nurses that are original to coral square- the new office staff..... not so much. I called today with a medical question about my 6 month old and a lady who answered the phone couldn’t have been bothered and typically with Coral Square pediatrics you’d hear back within the next hour but due to the merge with pediatric Associates I was told maybe I would receive a call back today. Just a sad mama who loved her small practice and wishes it didn’t change. It’s a shame. And all the new reviews show that it wasn’t a smooth transition or a good one.
I used to love them and now they have become so rude. My son feels most comfortable with either me and his father or me and grandma. He needs to have that comfort to cooperate and no matter how much I pleaded or how much he cried the nurse had no emotion and stated only one back at a time. I said please ask because I want him to be the most comfortable..he’s sick and she had no remorse and said nope only one. The nurses used to be so inviting and now it’s like they hate their job. I understand why the rules are there and I am not just a scorned parent but my son is a very anxious and sensitive boy and he has his comfort level which just requires two people. Idk why but it does and as a nurse when caring for a sick child hears and sees them throwing the kind of tantrum my son throws then there should be no problem letting the mother and father or mother and grandma go in together especially when they are vaccinated and wearing masks. I will not be coming here again…the lack of compassion is just so so sad.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
