This doctor comes across as very enthusiastic and ultra willing to be of assistance. He will hug a patient. He will put his arm around a patient. He is a salesman, though. He performed a TOTALLY unnecesary BILATERAL SACROILIAC JOINT FUSION on mE in 2013 when he was practicing in Port Charlotte, FL. I have had EXCRUCIATING pain ever since. I couldn't walk for months after I had the surgery. I have seen four orthopdeic or neurological surgeons. Every one of them told me that that surgery never should have been done. Don't buy into his salesman approach. He is an extreme extrovert. He could sell someone anything. DO NOT TRUST!

So he botched my surgery. Left me with permit nerve damage. Six years later I am still in daily pain. Tried to go after him, but he does not carry malpractice insurance. He literally left me and didn’t even try to help.

I had seen another surgeon before meeting Dr. Hess . On my first appointment , I knew Dr. Hess was the Dr I want to perform my surgery.He is caring , He listens to me and answered all my questions and understand my medical needs. Dr. Hess made me feel very confident . Today was my first follow up appointment after the surgery and it's all right . Thanks to God and Dr. Hess Hands. His staff is also amazing and extremely kind : France, Denisse and Jack . Thank you !! I am very happy and very grateful that I found the best surgeon in Florida!!

Had neck surgery back in 2010 dr.hess wound up stabbing my spinal cord had to have a second surgery to fix his mess now I'm disabled my right side is parchaly paralysed tried to sue but my lawyer had the case for two years then balled out so I got nothing
