Ok so he does not even read the patient history sent over to him. He schedules the same tests which were already done, Ultrasound, CAT scan. If these were done already why would he schedule it again and then give you the whole 5 minutes of his time. Take a hint from the dead plants in the lobby, if you want a doctor that can only do the colonoscopy and schedule tests then he is the guy for you.
Did not take the time to even try to understand my issues or ask any clarifying questions. Just went straight to lets do a colonoscopy and find out. He rushed through the visit, about two minutes with the Doctor. Could have done this appointment over the phone instead of wasting my time sitting in the waiting room. My time is just as valuable and I still have no idea what could be going on with my health. I would not recommend this Doctor.
After my first colonoscopy he said I was fine. Imagine my surprise when 5 years later they said I needed another one because of the polyps discovered in the first one. Second colonoscopy...He was hours late for the procedure and I never saw him, before or after, and never got any feedback on the procedure. I still don't know if anything was found. Worst Dr I've ever seen...Go elsewhere.
Horrific bedside manner..spent maybe 5-10 minutes with me.
Acted condescending and short Refused to shake my hand. He is good at what he does but has no interpersonal skills
First consult he was 30 mins late. The date of the procedure he was 45 mins late. Will not come back to see him again! Terrible service for too many other doctors to see.
Terrible! His receptionist at Crestview office is RUDE. Dr. Ringel doesn't explain anything. If you ask questions he presents attitude like you're wasting HIS time. After a procedure, he has ZERO bedside manner and doesn't seem to care about his patients at all. VERY, VERY, VERY disappointed with this physician. Told my husband he has liver cancer that may be associated with the pancreas and he would refer to an oncologist - no oncologist name given when asked, and no other information. He just wanted to get off the phone as soon as he could. If there is a possibility that my husband has pancreatic cancer I would think this is a priority matter that needs attention immediately! We will definitely be getting a second opinion. Run the other way if you are referred to this physician.
Waited over an hour past appt time to see him. When he entered the room, he called me by another patient's name. Asked me why I was there. Told him I needed my colonoscopy done as part of followup for UC. Without any further questions or exam, he said, "Fine. Go see my scheduler to get set up." He quickly left the room as I was in the midst of asking a question. Over his shoulder, he said again, "Get the scope done and then we'll talk." At my followup appt after the colonoscopy, he again was late seeing me. There were no other patients in the lobby besides me. Instead of talking to me in the exam room, he used a computer in the hallway, as I stood next to him. Staff members were sitting 10 feet away when he blurted out, "You've got acute diverticulitis. That's why you've been in pain. Come back and see me in the spring and we'll repeat the colonoscopy." Then he walked away. No antibiotics, no treatment options. I am done. I am looking for another GI doctor.
Terrible!!! Our Health Care System Is broken I get better service in a third world country. To make an appointment to see this guy for a routine Colonoscopy I had to wait a month he required me to get a referral from my Primary MD who wanted me to come in for the referral so he can make his $$ Finally I get in to see Dr Ringle my appointment was for 3 pm 7 Patents in the waiting room he shows up at 4:15 pm at 4:45 pm he sees me and ask me what I was there for I said I was due for my 5yr colonoscopy he says ok go see the receptionist she will set it up, BOOM charges me my $50 deductible and bills my insurance company $218.00 Needless to say, I will not let this guy touch me I'm going to have my colonoscopy out of network and far from this guy!!! Or this Town.
First appt was under one minute...was hurried, didn't ask about my history, told me I needed and endoscopy and sent me to his scheduler. Post endoscopy, he was hurried, acted impatient when I asked some questions. He diagnosed me with Barrett's which had progressed from esophagitis 5 years earlier. Failed to comment or document my hiatal hernia discovered 5 years ago. Told me to continue the same meds and regiment (which allowed me to slide to Barrett's) and come back in 3 years. Unacceptable. I'm now with another doc for second opinion, have to redo the endoscopy, and am a probable candidate for Nissen Fundoplication.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
