Dr. Youseff was the on-call cardiologist when my husband arrived at the ER in cardiac arrest via ambulance. He and the cath lab team saved my husband's life, code blue and all. He treated us with genuine kindness during recovery in the ICU, explaining everything clearly and answering all of our questions. A month later, he's my husband's cardiologist, guiding us through our new "normal" as my husband adjusts to new meds, diet, cardio rehab, etc. Some (not all) of his front office staff is inexplicably rude, but Dr. Youseff and his nursing staff is absolutely worth the annoyance.

He knew within hours of her arrival at ER my mother needed her faulty pacemaker with an emergency pacemaker. Notes in records told him this, tech from manufacturer told him this and witnesses of my moms heart vitals going to zero told him this. He denied all evidence and ordered test upon test in her 26 hour stay until she died from heart failure. More skilled as a coroner than a cardiologist. During her last day on earth and the only hour I left her side in ER while waiting to transfer upstairs, she sustained a fall from her ER bed with full telemetry and nobody responded until I came back and found her naked on the floor with several serious injuries that went undiagnosed and untreated. Contused and ripped open elbow, bruise on head, cut on forearm, contused and cut tailbone. What did these 5 nurses that finally responded do? Wiped her down, threw a new gown on her, put a bandage over her ruptured elbow and immediately rolled her upstairs where she died awaiting care.

Everyone was great. Didn’t have to wait for my appointment.
