Dr. Wallis and his staff are exceptional in all aspects. From introductions, exams, explanations and overall communications they all work very hard at making sure your medical needs are met.

Met him in the hospital, he comes across very abrupt but to the point there’s nothing wrong with that he pointed out some things to me that needed to change and he told me he would help me facilitate that change, my health, every aspect of what I’ve known since I was over 33 years old and that has to change and that is now over 20 years later, incorrect medication incorrect those saying incorrect diagnosis and the man was able to nail all this on the head could he have a friendlier persona I’m sure, but I don’t need somebody to guess me when I need somebody is to help heal me not just take my money, I like him even the fact that he’s a little cocky but they say sometimes the most brilliant of people are depending on what happens with this hurricane that’s coming my intention is to see him in the next week as per his instruction I will keep everybody updated. They say sometimes people with the biggest attitude and are a little cocky have gotten that way because they’re tired of seeing all the wrongs that have been done medically to people depending on what happens with the hurricane this coming week I intend to see him and I intend to follow through, Lynn

He is an outstanding physician. He is highly knowledgeable, skilled and genuinely cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

Went 3 times, NEVER AGAIN! First visit comes into room, grunts something then prcedes to far side of room and talks to wall. After 10 minutes tells me to undress and leaves returns 15 minutes later and ecame more concerned with car on back than my problem. Tells other person in room(never did anything except stand there never left will Idisrobed) "has blood in stool needs testing. HE NEVER CHECKED STOOL Said get dressed and walked out. Second visit more talkng to wall When he finally had time for me I suggested colonostopy He said only as last resort (everyother doctor it is frst test) and left Third visit walked into room talked to wall again and left. Ever present other person in room said to make another appointment I will never return

Wait times are ridiculous. Dr was not helpful at all with my condition. Staff is incompetent and can not seem to even handle the simplest task. Office small and dingy. Stay away from this doctor. I wasted three months and five office visits.

On my first visit for an esophageal swallowing problem, I sat in the patient room and waited for 30 minutes while his nurse entered all the information I had sent to her a week prior. When I finally saw the doctor, he examined me and asked questions and palpated my belly (not necessary since my problem was my throat, but I realized he was doing that to charge $378 and insurance only reimburses $60 plus my copay of $20). Scheduled me for an endoscopy and I found out about the implant of a Bravo device AT the hospital on the day of the EGD. He spoke to my hubby while I was coming out of anesthesia and my hubby was jot impressed by his manor, but reading the his reports showed that he was at least getting at the source of my problem where my previous GI had ignored me and failed to diagnose. I wore the device for two days, returned it and waited for next visit two weeks later for results. Two weeks later, he was totally unprepared to see me as the BRAVO results were not in the file and nobody on his staff had bird dogged them. He was scattered and unfocused. Again, he palpated my belly to charge the max. Was to have staff schedule an esophageal motility test. Front desk put it on the chart, scheduled me for two additional follow up visits(one for the missing BRAVO results and one post motility test) and I left. A week prior to scheduled test, I called office because the hospital had not called me to preregister. Staff told me they do the test in-office (I had a gut feeling this was an error, but let it slide). Arrived at office 15 minutes early for my appointment. It was 45 minutes before his nurse took me into a room. She took another 20 minutes entering info and took my weight, bp and o2. Doc came in and began dictating his notes into his computer as he always does(very annoying and seems disrespectful because he is NOT paying attention to the patient). As he is dictating, he is making comments about my bowels and incontinence and I am shaking my head NoNoNo until he finally stops. His staff has scheduled me for an ANAL motility test which means shooting a syringe of saline up your BUTT! Thank goodness I stopped the process. He was apologetic and said I would not be charged for my visit (accounting says I cannot have all of my $20 back because they took my vitals! We will see what American Express says about that!). Test is now scheduled at hospital and when the results are discussed at the follow up appointment, I AM SO DONE WITH THIS GUY!

Roughest colonoscopy ever, did not wait for sedatation to take effect. Greediest financial policies ever. Bogus billings. Intransigent office manager. Charged $5 late payment when their billing office keyed in the wrong payment amount by 15 cents! AND, they insist it's my fault and will not reverse the charge and the late payment. Stay away!!!

Talks to a recorder with his back to you. I had multiple procedures and he never told me what was wrong! This guy is a joke!! Steer clear of him, just ask any nurse at Citrus Memorial or Seven Rivers hospital,

Do not go to Dr. Wallace. I was under his care for 4 years and I finally had enough. The straw that broke the camels back . He is short staffed so in his office he had a "floater" and I was told he goes from one facility to another to fix computer problems. His name was either Troy or Todd. He tried to take my blood pressure and failed miserably. Like I said, we were the only two people in the room and Dr. Wallace came in. He had computer geek stand there while Dr. Wallis pulled my pants down to feel my stomach. I was appalled. For the next few years I was scheduled for an "Endoscopy" once a month at Citrus Memorial. The first hospital visit, I woke up from the surgery and was in the recovery room. I mentioned to Dr. Wallis that I had a sore throat. After the fact, he said he banded my esophagus with 6 or 7 bands. Neither my husband or I had not heard about this procedure before hand. I went to another Gastroenterologist. He said all of these surgeries none was necessary - so did the nurse at Citrus Hospital. Never again will I go to this so called gastroenterologist.

He's more interested in whats in your wallet, not your health.
