10 days for a pair of glasses is ridiculous.

I made an appointment for my 7 year old and told them I did not want his eyes dilated as he would have to go back to school afterword's. I was assured that I had the choice not to. When I took the appointment the tech informed me that I had no choice it was their policy to have it done. Thank you for wasting my time. Appointment had to be cancelled because they wouldn't do the exam with out this. I lost time at work and he at school.

I have visited Opti-Mart Vision for many, many years. My health care provider submitted a request that I visit another facility last year, which I did. The “other “company was good, but there is no comparison to the service, to the attention, and care that I receive from Opti-Mart in Crystal River, FL. A few years ago, I had to accompany my young grandson to the Opti-Mart in Inverness. It was the same as here in Crystal River, but different, in that I feel spoiled when I enter my local Opti-mart in Crystal River. The warmth, the smiles, the cheerfulness from both Victoria and Linda simply can’t be replaced. I always delight in seeing their shinning faces. Excellent, Covid-safe, thorough eye exam. Everyone was professional and kind as they employed covid sanitization practices, including Dr. Day. My eyes are a bit of a challenge due to other health issues. Dr Day is aware of how my conditions can effect my eyesight and willing to go the extra mile to be sure that we get the prescription just right. This means everything to me; I am grateful.

Although the front area ladies were very covid safe, knowledgeable & helpful, I cannot say the same for Dr. Day. This 1 star rating is based on the fact that as soon as he closed the exam room door, he informed me that he had both doses of the covid-19 vaccine & was removing his mask & that I could do the same (I did not). His mask remained off throughout the entire exam including pressure reading & dilation process. When I returned to pick up my glasses, yet another doctor came out of the exam room with a patient to ask a question, also NOT wearing a mask. The sign on the door states mask is required by apparently not for the doctors. This was a very uncomfortable experience for me in this pandemic we now live with & I will not be returning again.

Staff was very helpful. Minor glitch with delivery to a location other than my home. My old address was still on file and glasses were routed there instead of to a site where we were during a vacation. A phone call handled the situation right away. I have been a satisfied customer for many years😄.
