I want to thank Dr Hellstern for his dedication to his practice and patients. Anytime I've seen doctor he's taken great care of me and fixed any problems I've had. His staff is great too. Thanks so much.

Previous patient of Dr. Hellstern. Tried to get an appointment for severe abdominal pain. Spoke with the front desk and was so rudely dismissed as a concern. Asked if I could be on a waiting list as the doctor couldn't see me "any time soon". I was told there was no such thing. Their lack of concern or care has made me think twice before I see this physician again. I will find another that has a staff more compassionate.

Always has time to talk to you explaining and answering any questions you might have. The office staff is very friendly and competent.

I wish I could leave zero stars. My daughter is 17 almost 18 and has been seeing Hellstern for nearly a year. Randomly they change their policy and don't even inform us until after the fact when it's time for an appointment that he no longer sees patients under 18. Like really then our primary calls them and gets them to accept her at least verbally over the phone, they have to get approval thru insurance for each appt which they did again 3 wks ago and now today after waiting 3 wks when she needed an appt over a month ago, they call today to say we got the approval but we still won't take her because she has 3 months before she turns 18. The lady on the phone working there I tell the entire issue we've had...and still now we've wasted 3 wks to just to get told again they won't take her. This business let my 17 yr old suffer for over a month, by saying they would still see her since she was almost 18. Nothing but liars. I think I'll be calling a lawyer about this.

The funny thing is, I used to work at Gastroenterology And Associates back in 2012. You don't completely comprehend how important it really is to have such a comforting staff until you're the one having the procedure. And I'm so glad I came there, terrified ofcourse but everyone was amazing, comforting and accommodating. Thank you Dr.Hellstern for helping put my heart and mind at ease!! Great Dr and wonderful staff 🙏🏻

If anyone is needing a new gastroenterologist, dr. Hellstern is your guy. I’ve had pretty bad experiences with other doctors in the area (and surrounding areas) but kept hearing really good things about Dr. hellstern so I decided to give him a try. Today was my first visit with him and he was very comforting, professional, educated, patient, had a great personality, and wants to run tests that nobody else has ever offered in an attempt to actually find the problem. He made me feel safe being there. You can tell he actually cares about helping his patients. 10000% would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Hellstern has been taking care of my husband for over six months. He is kind and listens to the patient. Dr. Hellstern’s level of expertise is unsurpassed. He doesn’t order unnecessary tests and is conservative, which is what we all want in a physician.

Dr. Hellstern is an exceptional gastroenterologist who is kind and compassionate in addition to his expertise. He listens and answers questions, and takes the time needed to give patients the very best care.

I have been seeing Dr.Paul Hellstern for almost give or take 5/6 years. I absolutely love the way his treatments and attitude how he has been so patient and kind towards me. I would not want anyone else to treat me unless he felt it medically necessary to do so. Thanks Dr. Hellstern and to your staff in Chrystal river office. As far as the staff in the Inverness office I have to be honest I am not happy granted some there are ok but most of them need to be retrained . I have not one bad thing to say about his staff not Dr.Hellstern in the Chrystal River Office.

Dr. Hellstern is a down to earth doctor; he listens and asks a lot of questions. Both my wife and I have him as our Gastroenterologist. He does not try to rush you and spend whatever time needed with us. He has helped both my wife and I and recommend him without reservation.
