I was a patient of Hector for about 2 years. During that entire time I saw him every quarter and he never so much as put a stethoscope to my chest! All he did was sit behind a laptop and take notes (or at least it seemed that was what he was doing) I went to see him in Oct 2020 having a problem with chest pain and swelling of my torso cavity and chest - hard to breath and a lot of other things - I was prescribed medications - this was the usual solution to any problem I had by Dr. Guevera! On November 16, 2020 I was admitted to the EMERGENCY ROOM at the local hospital in Zephyrhills, but they couldn't handle the problem so they transferred me to Tampa Bay Advent Hospital. The ER doctors asked me if I had previously spoken to my primary about this situation and I told them that I had even made an appointment to go see him about it - but when all he did was prescribe me a medication I picked up copies of all of my records (which I paid for and passed on to them) and told the front desk to go back and tell Hector he was no longer working for me! The surgeons were amazed - they told me I had an ulcer that had caused perforations in my appendix allowing liquid and gas to escape into the rest of my system and that if I hadn't checked myself in I could have died! They kept me in the hospital for 6 days and I returned for surgery in early January 2021. All Hector cares about is the insurance $$$$$$ not the patient be careful if you think he's going to take care of you.... he cares more about his laptop!

My husband and I have been going to Dr Hector Guevara since 2018, We had covid he Dr. called us everyday including weekends to see how we were doing. The staff as always been concerned about us, We are treated very professionally. Joseph And Ruby Anne Bryant

Staff is extremely unprofessional. Always have to call 4-5 to get something done and still it is even as though I am calling for the first time and they have no idea of my issue. Not efficient at all. Would not recommend this office.

I never saw the Dr. Only the nurse practitioner who was new to the field and cared more about the insurance rules than anything else.

UnpUnprofessional. Treatment to patient is awful. Don't answer the phone. They do not act in the best interest of the patient. I am switching to different doctors next year. In two years i saw him once, only because he had no PA to work that day.

I loved his quiet demeanor his willingness to spend time with me the patient willing to explain things carefully in detail his willingness to answer my many questions and I found the reception staff friendly

I love Dr Guevara, however the office staff needs replaced. They talk to each other about you, give you a hard time if they don't like you, like anything you need they won't do and they tell you must come in to see the doctor to get it done, when you were just there 2 weeks ago, and the doctor knows everything that's going on with you and your needs. They are incompetent, back stabbers, two faced, vendictive, they make up rules as they seem fit, and have not one reason to be working in such a prominent DOCTORS office. I've never seen such office staff incapabilities and disregard for patients in my 40 years of being seen by doctors.
