Very caring and knowledgeable ER doctor. Did everything possible to get me stable after a severe allergic reaction in time for leaving on a trip in the morning. The effort was outstanding with this doctor along with the nursing staff. I’m a Very grateful patient!! Thank you.

I saw Dr. McHale in the ER at Heart if Florida Hospital in Davenport yesterday for severe abdominal pain and vomiting. He came in, listened to my lungs, asked me 3-4 basic questions the proceeded to leave the room and never come back...even when I specifically asked to speak to him after my tests. He sent the nurse into my "room" to tell me "he thinks you have gastritis and is sending you home" When I asked to speak to the doctor, the nurse replied "he said he is not coming in here". Then they refused to give me any if my test results other than to say "they're fine". I have always loved that hospital as well as it's doctors. I even travel an hour to get there, after yesterday's treatment, I will never go back and I plan to file a complaint against Dr. McHale.
