I would highly recommend Rothman Orthopedics. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Dr Prochnow was super. He explained everything to my satisfaction.

My left hand was going numb for a couple years, found Dr Todd Prochnow through my nieces recommendation since she was already seeing him for her shoulder and kept talking about how much she really liked her doctor so I thought I would give him a try. I scheduled an appointment with him and I must say that was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. He told me what the problem was and gave me a few options to try and I told him I just wanted it fixed so let’s do the surgery and get it over with. Long story short, he scheduled the surgery and I arrived at the hospital at 9:30am and the surgery was at 11:30am and at 1:30 I was walking out the door going home (FIXED). I have had no pain what so ever and have not taken any pain pills of any kind. If I ever need any of the services that he offers I will definitely be seeing him again. I’m back at work now after 3 days off, pain free and happy. Thanks again Dr Todd Prochnow!!!

I was going to Dr Prochnow in Avalon, Florida office until last year. I had been seeing him over a course of 18 months and getting injections in my knee for osteoarthritis. It wasn't helping much so he suggested iovera. That worked great. As a matter of fact, l was able to walk again without pain. He said if worked we do it again in 4 months. So scheduled it and never recieved call to verify again. So was scheduled in Jan and May was hurting so much went in again. I brought up they never called to set exact day but month and he said bc lm only going to do for post knee but never called to inform me. Steroid shots did not work. So l again told him this. His reply was this, RUDELY. MAYBE IF YOU BOUGHT BETTER INSURANCE YOU COULD GET BETTER THINGS I CAN DO. bc he had mentioned shot that prob help but expensive. Hes full of himself and very rude. If l could afford better l would have had. Proves not all drs care. Obviously hes about $$$ and btw my insurance covered the iovera. He just

I went to see Dr Prochnow because of a back problem. I walked in his office using a walker. I told him what I might have done to injure myself; he did not examine me. He said I would be fine in 3 months and I did not need a walker. He prescribed pain medication and dismissed me. I made an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon on Pensacola. He examined me, took x-rays and showed me the pics of my spine. I had severe arthritis & bulging disc and spinal stenosis. Prochnow is a quack.

Dr. Prochnow performed 2 total hip replacements for me. First November '16 and second June '17. He was thorough in his explanation and routes to take with respect to the degenerative condition that I had. His approach has been of concern and to provide me information to make an informed decision without bias. Both surgeries have been a success for me. His expert skills as a surgeon mitigated my constant pain and I now have the opportunity to have a truly improved quality of life.
