I would like to highlight this provider’s no-show fee policy. The first time we missed an appointment, she was kind enough to waive the fee. However, on a second occasion when we were unable to cancel within 24 hours, we were charged a $200 no-show fee. After researching typical no-show fees for children’s therapists in Miami, FL—which range from approximately $30 to $150—I found this fee to be considerably higher than average. Her standard fee is $250, though she graciously reduced it by $50 in this instance. While I appreciate her flexibility, I believe it’s important for prospective clients to be aware of this policy.
