URGENT WARNING: Do NOT Trust Your Benzodiazepine Care Here. Incompetence, Medical Malpractice, and Life-Threatening Ignorance!<br><br>"Do NOT, and I am warning you for your life, DO NOT go here if you are struggling with benzodiazepine (Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, Valium, etc.) dependency/addiction. My experience here has been absolutely horrid, a true nightmare of medical malpractice. They will not help you; they will actively make your situation worse.<br><br>I came here desperately seeking help for severe and debilitating benzodiazepine withdrawal, already traumatized by past medical mismanagement and feeling incredibly vulnerable. What I found was not healing, but a continuation of my torment.<br><br>This facility, and its psychiatrists, openly deny the Ashton Manual the globally recognized gold standard for safe benzodiazepine withdrawal. The psychs here display a dangerous lack of fundamental knowledge about these drugs, which directly puts patients lives at risk.<br><br>If you are dealing with benzodiazepine dependence and withdrawal, please heed this warning: Do NOT seek help from this facility, or frankly, any psychiatrist associated with it, if my experience is any indication.<br><br>These doctors, and by extension, this practice, operate with a shocking and dangerous level of ignorance regarding benzodiazepine dependence. They do not understand the fundamental concepts of how these drugs affect your brain, how devastating withdrawal can be, or how to safely guide someone off them. Key, life-saving information, widely available and understood by actual experts, is completely unknown or actively dismissed by them.<br><br>Their approach is dismissive, rigid, and utterly lacking in empathy. My very real, agonizing suffering and my legitimate concerns about my safety were ignored, minimized, and manipulated. Instead of receiving compassionate, informed care, I was met with arrogance and dangerous plans that would have plunged me into further, life-threatening crises, risking my health and sanity.<br><br>If you are trapped in the agonizing cycle of benzodiazepine dependence, you need a doctor who understands the science, respects your suffering, and knows how to safely guide you. You will not find that here. This place is not a safe harbor; it's a further risk to your well-being.<br><br>My life has been unnecessarily damaged by their hands, resulting in my recovery being stagnated, and further harm being done to my brain and body, stealing a huge portion of my life that would have otherwise gone on unharmed.<br><br>Please listen to my words, as your life depends on it.

This place is great, they provide exceptional service and its a wide range of services they provide, even provide snacks in the lobby if you are there long.

Juliet Clayton was one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. She helped me and was non judgmental and gave me the help I so desperately needed. I have been getting treatment with these people for a year now and they are all wonderful. These people have made me feel like a friend. I would recommend this place to anyone that is suffering from any kind of mental issue these people really care about their patients.

They understand my problems and situations I go through

I don’t know how the rest of the staff is, but what I can tell you is that my husband has been a patient of Dr. Andrew James. I can't express enough how grateful we are to have him as my husband's doctor. He is simply perfection. He communicates with us, and most importantly, he listens when we need to talk to him. He gets back to us on time and really shows that he cares about his patients. He is not in it just for the money, which is very rare to find, especially in the mental health department. Thank you.

Mi nombre Miladys Barbosa, este lugar para mi es la vida con calidad, yo presentaba un cuadro de depresión muy alto mucha ansiedad me sentía tan mal que no veía delante de mi nada positivo todo era malo y oscuro, gracias al tratamiento y la mejor atención del doctor Iván Matamoros siempre digo que le debo la vida con calidad que tengo ahora los medicamentos que tomo a diario me siento mucho pero mucho mejor, todas las personas de costumer service son muy atentos agradables gracias a todos por hacer sentir a las personas que están en un lugar donde los ayudan a mejorar su calidad de vida, muchas gracias bendiciones 🙏

I would never come back. I spoke to a psychiatrist about my anxiety and expressed that I sometimes have wine to calm me down. He asked when was the last time I had wine I answered and next thing you know, behind my back, he called DCF on me. He didn’t prescribe me anything. He Offered me 0 help. In fact I left with more anxiety because if I don’t complete the 4 different programs and the drug tests for 6 and a half month I can have my son taken away. I have 4 different people popping up at my house throughout the week even though my son is healthy, well taken care of and I have tons of support from my husband, grandmas and etc. I would give zero stars

These reviews do not do this place justice. I found Memorial Behavioral Health by recommendation. I was struggling with severe panic attacks. They matched me up with a therapy team and encouraged me to join their small group which is called "Choices". This is such an amazing group and wish I new about it sooner. They offer so many great services to help meet the needs of different mental health diagnosis. I would highly recommend it.
