MIchelle Dompenciel's Online Review Report Card

I see Dr. Dompenciel for management of my migraines. She listens, which is so important when it comes to treating migraines. I think she is a very good doctor. The office, however, leaves much to be desired. I wrote this review after seeing the negative reviews because the doctor went on medical leave... It's not the fault of the doctor that Cleveland Clinic can't properly staff for unexpected emergencies. The first time I walked in, I didn't realize you needed to check in via kiosk. The RECEPTIONISTS just let me stand there awkwardly waiting to be addressed. I was ignored.

She is what every Dr. should be. She is professional, caring goes above and beyond in every area. I will without hesitation recommend her to everyone who has fought and failed to find the Doctor that is outstanding and will work to find the answer that others don't. Her staff is outstanding in every way.

I was 15 minutes late for an appointment due to road flooding and difficult driving conditions caused by a sudden downpour. On arrival I was told the doctor couldn't see me as she was booked for the rest of the day. Any doctor who is unable to make an accommodation for a patient under such circumstances is not someone I would I recommend to anyone.

I have now had 2 appointments cancelled on me the day before my scheduled appointment due to Dr. Dompenciel being sick. Each time they cancel, the earliest they can reschedule my appointment is 2 months later. This past cancellation, I expressed concern about running out of my medication and not being able to get my annual scans (since it's now already been 14 months since my last scan), so the assistant told me Dr. Dompenciel's office would call early this week to get my appointment rescheduled earlier. It is now Thursday, have not heard from her office, and now when I call, they won't let me schedule an appointment with her NP or an earlier appointment with her. When I finally got a hold of her office, the representative hung up the call while I was speaking. Would not recommend for new patients, especially if you need timely assistance with your health.

Horrible experience with this office, my father had an appointment with Dr Dompenciel. They called us to cancel because she was sick, the new appointment was a month later. On the second appointment they cancel on us at the office saying the Dr had surgery and she was unavailable. The new appointment would have been for a month and a half later so they gave us an appointment with her nurse which it was 1 week later, on the day of the appointment they called us to say the nurse didn’t go and the Dr still unavailable!! 3 times!!!!! This is past ridiculous!!! I will now have to make another appointment probably for the next month or so, who knows if my father is ever going to see someone at this office. Insane!!!

I've been waiting over a month for an appointment after being discharged from the hospital . My situation is very stressful and I was hopeful this Dr could help. My appointment was supposed to be in 4 days. I just got a phone call that the Dr will not be in and I can't be seen for another 2 months. Ive been waiting over a month already and to me it's a middle finger from the doctor when they play with people's lives in this way. No consideration whatsoever .. I'm on to the next "doctor".

Hello I have been trying for approximately 5 months to see you. First you canceled on me. Then I canceled because I had to fly out on a sick family member in NJ. Then December 5 you canceled again. The person from Cleveland clinic was not very nice and she told me your next available was January 25. If possible could I have something sooner

One of the worst. She was unable to get brain MRI in over 90 days. Refuses to discuss test results. Refuses to talk to family care givers that are authorized by patient to discuss needed care.

Dr. Dompenciel is caring and works diligently to get to the right diagnosis. She is willing to listen and completely explains your test results. Very competent and professional.

This doctor is through and caring. She strives to get to the diagnosis.
