Performed a procedure without informing me of the consequences or alternatives, that I found out exist and do not have the consequences. When I realized what the consequence was and asked him about it,, he literally laughed it off, telling me my wife would be happy because there would be no mess to clean up. He was way wrong! Ask lots of questions....

THIS REVIEW IS NOT ABOUT THE DOCTOR. WE LIKE HIM..HIS NURSE IS GREAT. BUT THE EASE OF GETTING AN APPT. IS TERRIBLE. MY HUSBAND HAS A HISTORY OF BLADDER CANCER FOR MANY YEARS. HE STARTED WITH BLOOD IN THE URINE IN NOVEMBER. WE WERE THINKING THE CANCER CAME BACK. WHEN I CALLED THE OFFICE FOR AN APPOINTMENT (THINKING SHE MIGHT SAY COME IN A WEEK ) SHE SAID THE SOONEST SHE COULD GET HIM IN WAS FEB 12TH. THATS 3 MONTHS!!!! SHE SAID IF HE WAS BLEEDING HE SHOULD GO TO ER. HE WASNT POURING OUT BLOOD BUT WOULD OCCASIONALLY SEE IT IN THE TOILET. HE HAS BEEN A PATIENT FOR 2 YEARS. I WAS SO FURIOUS THAT I TOLD HER WE WOULD BE FINDING ANOTHER DR. (WHICH WE HAVE). HE HAS A REOCCURRENCE OF CANCER. I'VE BEEN A NURSE FOR 50 YEARS AND NEVER HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS!!! SHAME ON THAT PERSON I SPOKE TO. SHE NEVER EVEN HAD THE COURTESY TO NOTIFY THE DR. HE SHOULD KNOW WHAT KIND OF IDIOTS HE HAS EMPLOYED. VERY DISGUSTED WITH THE PRACTICE AND DEALING WITH CLEVELAND CLINIC IS A NIGHTMARE TRYING TO REACH SOMEONE. I HOPE THE DR. IS READING THIS BECAUSE IT WILL BE A REFLECTION ON HIM. YOU SHOULD HAVE SECRETARIES THAT HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE IN DEALING WITH UROLOGICAL PATIENTS. YOU DON'T MAKE A PATIENT WAIT THAT LONG WITH A HISTORY OF BLADDER CANCER!!!

This is a honest review of the horrible service that Cleveland Clinic Urology provided for patient care. I hope this review makes them change their practice so this doesn't happen to anyone. My father had to get a emergency catheter put in at the ER due to a reaction to medicine. He was scheduled as told by ER to get it removed by urologist and had an appointment to do so, the office cancelled on the day of the appointment and won't reschedule and refused to see him, telling him to go to the ER to get it removed. Whole reason ER told him to go to urologist was to be evaluated and have it removed. Makes no sense. He's a established patient of Cleveland clinic. Why is this dept refusing care/ what was told by ER doc? What happen? The doctor and office staff refused to talk to patient or family about issue just repeating to go to Er which we are now going tomorrow morning. Hopefully the on call urologist is more caring than this doctor/office.

Dr Muruve is a class act ! When you look up urologist in Webster’s dictionary it should show his face ! I had 2 kidney stones and was seeing a urologist in Cleveland Ohio - he pretty much dropped the ball and gave up on me - I moved to Florida and found Dr Muruve thankfully ! He assessed my situation without hesitation came up with a game plan and 2 weeks later I’m stone free ! The other doctor in Cleveland put a stent in me and for 2 months did nothing - he actually said he’s not sure what to do ! Seriously ??

I have absolute and total confidence in Dr Muruve and his staff. My previous surgical procedures were done with the utmost skill and consideration. I’m now facing the possibility of another kidney stone lithotripsy and am grateful I have such a great doctor. Greg Leigh

It was a total pleasure meeting Dr. maruve for the first time at Cleveland clinic. He was on time and totally professional and knowledgeable and I am happy that he will be my new urologist

Dr. Muruve quickly understood my acute kidney stone situation. He was empathetic, kind, very professional, and 'listened' to me. I highly recommend him without any reservations.
