Spoke with dr. Vijay vakharia. He was very rude with me , and was interrupting me ask I was trying to finish my sentence. Don’t go to him. The staff might be nice but the dr needs to learn manners or at least respect. Don’t ever go to him. I’ve heard bad reviews from other people as well who are afraid to speak up. I’m speaking up now. ZERO STARS.

Dr. Vakharia's office staff is courteous, efficient, and very well trained. His office is always the picture of cleanliness. Dr. Vakharia is a cardiologist who is also a primary care physician. He takes time to get to know his patients. He shows genuine concern for their well-being. He stays up-to-date on all current medical trends. I trust him, and I have already referred family members and friends to him.

I have been with Dr. Vakharia as my PHP since 2010. I have had colorectal cancer and Dr. Vakharia was wonderful! He was at the hospital daily managing my recovery with utmost care. On a daily basis, Dr. Vakharia is very kind and listens to me whenever I have a complaint about my health. He is knowledgeable and always knows exactly what to do to make me feel better. I am an 82 year old woman and I began seeing Dr. Vijay Vakharia in 2010 as my Primary Care Physician. In 2013 I had colorectal cancer and can say that Dr. Vakharia gave me the most excellent care a person can expect from a physician. He visited me daily during the nine days I was in the hospital and coordinated my care with the two surgeons who performed the three surgeries I required. He always listens and cares about what a patient feels and needs. He is never in a hurry. In addition to this excellent care, Dr. Vakharia has treated me for severe allergies, bronchitis and sinus infections and chronic diarrhea. In each instance, he gave me the care I needed and the right medications to see me through each illness. He has called me at home on several occasions, which few doctors do, to check on me. After seven years, I have gotten to know that Dr. Vakharia is not only a great doctor but a kind and caring human being and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Vakharia makes direct communication with the patient which is great rare quality in a doctor. Having said that I am considering dropping this doctor for two reasons: he prefers to keep all in house and is reluctant to make referrals when needed and more importantly his lab technicians are rude and hurried and won't hesitate to slam the needle in your vein to draw blood! This has happened to me and was horrendous-my carrier said I could ask him 4 a referral 4 lab work.ill ask him for it!
