Dr. Gamenthaler was kind, caring & compassionate. His consultative approach provided thorough overview of the pathology reporting, explanation of surgical procedure & established next steps in leading post care to live my best life. He provided enormous relief to me & took the time to allow me to be heard & seen through his emotional intelligence he possesses. I am grateful for his high level of professionalism & genuine down to earth approach & care. He is wonderful. Thank you for positively impacting my life during my challenging season. Very impressed with my oncology surgeon. Dr. Gamenthaler was so incredibly kind and knowledgeable. First visit was at least a half hour where he listened to my concerns and explained exactly what was going to happen next in my cancer journey. I had a lymph node removed from my armpit and a cancer port installed without a hitch. Dr. Gamenthaler was compassionate and understood the pain in which I would be suffering. If I ever need general surgery again, I'm going with Gamenthaler.

Stay clear My wife almost died after surgert

I made an appointment to seek Dr Gamenthaler and waited weeks for the appointment. I drove an hour and a half to Daytona Beach. I met with him and thought he would be great. He offered to do telemedicine visits going forward so I wouldn’t have to drive back to Daytona Beach until surgery. I explained that I needed to complete my surgery this year and that I was a teacher and wanted this handled before year end so that my recovery would be during my Winter Break . He said that could happen. I made a follow up telemedicine appointment and completed the very extensive check in procedure and waited. He never called. I called the office this morning to find out what happened and the receptionist was not apologetic that I devoted 3 hours waiting. I rescheduled for this afternoon. After the appointment time passed with no call, I called the office again. Debbie said that because they didn’t have the results of a test I had ( even though I told her I had the results) she said they would have to reschedule. I said I just wanted to get on the schedule for the surgery I need. She said she would have to talk to Ashley about this. The receptionist did call back but said that they are now scheduling into January unless there was a cancellation. Did I want reschedule? The answer was a HARD NO. I don’t want anything to do with a practice that doesn’t value my time.

He performed surgery on My wife on a Friday he discharged her the same day at 3.30pm. Later that night she was taken to the drain he inserted start leaking she was transferred and admitted back to the hospital where she stayed 5 more days. He never came back to look at her or contacted me the husband he finally went to the hospital on Tuesday 4 days later? He then got another physician to perform a second surgical procedure this Dr was just as bad the floor nurse informed him that me the husband wanted to talk to him when he was done with the second procedure well, he left never spoke to me or called me. My wife is home and still bed ridden with the drain 2 weeks after the surgery. This is the worst doctor patient experience we have ever encountered, and it was not a minor surgical procedure. Called him this Monday to see her and was told to call back Wednesday for a time on Thursday.

One of the most caring men my husband and I have had in our lives. He has a great bedside manner and he knows his “stuff”!

Dr Gamenthaler is an amazing doctor. He is Efficient, kind, knowledgeable. He always makes you feel comfortable. He is a 10, very lucky to have found such a wonderful doctor.
