List of Ashraf Elsakr's Reviews
Dr. Elsakr is a knowledgeable, caring cardiologist who I have complete trust and faith in. Thank you Dr. for taking such good care of us! I would recommend him to anyone! (and this is coming from an RN)
Never answers phone calls.
Not knowledgeable, poor bedside manner, even worse staff.
Front office staff very rude. Dropped off my referral paperwork 2 weeks ago and told that they were very busy and give them over a week to get a call back. It's now been 2 weeks and no call. I'll be looking for another doctor.
Horrible! My heart rate in his office was almost 300. He asked me if it happen before. I told him Christmas Day. He was angry because I did not call him Christmas Day. He said I should find another Cardiologist. Then I received a letter that he discharged me. Did not need a discharge letter, I was NEVER going back to see him.. Horrible attitude.

My husband went to see Dr. Elsakr as a new patient. He was very thorough and caring. The office staff were nice and helpful. We are happy that my husband was able to be seen by this great doctor!
I didn’t want to ruin your star rating but I did want to post about Brittany who is so rude at the front desk that I can’t get an appointment. She doesn’t understand or care to look at a referral that was sent there and I have confirmation of You receiving it and then waiting so patiently for a week for a call back to make an appointment and no I will not be in the system because I’m a new patient. It’s sad that I know that and the person running your front desk doesn’t, instead she would rather argue with me instead of going to look. So thank you Brittany for making such a nerve wrecking issue into something even more stressful. It’s really easy to be nice to someone while you put them on hold and go look to see that my referral has been sitting there since Wednesday.
Dr. Esakr has been my cardiologist for 5 years and I recommend him highly. He is the only cardiologist (been to 6) that every visit discusses diet and exercise as well as my health. He is known to be a doctor that doesn't mess around. To me that is his best quality. Dr. Elsakr truly cares about your well being and will serve you with the best of his ability and intentions which are exstensive. Excellent office and support staff as well.
The wait time was absolutely insane. Appointment 2:30 didn't leave till 6!!!! Very bizarre Dr. visit. Did not feel comfortable with him at all. In fact I'm still questioning a 'groin ' exam he did. No other doctor or cardiologist or hospital stay has one. Knew nothing that was in my chart from hospital that was sent two months before my visit. Most of my time was spent in waiting room or in examing room listening to him talk to his computer. To each his own, but I'll mark this one off as a Quack doctor. Won't be returning. What upsets me off even more was the very elderly people and their caretakers waiting so long in waiting room. It's inexcusable. And this was not out of the norm. The talk in waiting room was all about waiting on every visit and the staff changing constantly. That right there should tell you all you need to know. Oh and he also operated on the wrong person a few years back. Google it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
