List of Aubrey Schock's Reviews
Dr Roxy was one of the best dr I ever met his empathy compassion and understanding for his patients needs knew no bounds .the notion that this new practice is replacing him is an insult to his legacy.
My son was going through a bad time with his mental health and had just moved back to Daytona now too old for his pediatrician he needed a primary care dr. Roxy had retired so we were referred to his replacement. Initially the office gave the wrong month for his appointment and he showed up a month early he registered and filled out all the paperwork. However the next month he failed to get himself to the appointment because of his depression so I called and asked them to give him my appointment and explained the situation. I have never had the misfortune to talk to a dr office who could be less concerned about the weal fare of a young person. They refused to see him and said that he was barred due to missing his appointment. Roxy was my dr on and off for many years and was a caring compassionate and competent dr. This experience is the antithesis of the principles he stood for. The consequence is that this aggravated my sons paranoia and set us a long was back in finding him help.
Got in earlier than Appt time. Easy check in
He was my doctor for 4-5 months. I kept trying to be optimistic but this office kept showing me I should not. My patient portal demonstrates they failed me in following up and explaining results of tests, in diagnosing, and medication needs, misinformed me of status of retest. Failed to lower a prescription drug dose when I became hyperthyroid. He said ti was fine; it was not fine. I had to have this addressed with another doctor. I felt my simple health questions were a bother or were ignored.
Test results not addressed in follow up visits, or misinformed of lab result status. My patient portal shows difficulty in communicating and getting simple answers to questions such as medication questions or when to get labs done and other issues. I felt I should "hurry up" even though I don't think I was in his office more than a few minutes.
Stay away from this guy! Your life may very well depend on it. I put up with Schock's disregard for my health for going on 2 years before seeking real medical guidance from a doctor who truly cares about patients. I saw a new doctor a couple weeks ago who reviewed my medications and asked pertinent questions about my lifestyle. He set me up for a colonoscopy and a ct scan on my lungs because I was a long-time smoker who had quit just going on three years. Today, the scan shows a "large nodule" on my right lungs. If Schock were a dedicated professional, rather than throw up his hands and say "What do you want ME to do about it?" when I had repeatedly expressed my concerns about a sharp pain on the right side of my body, I wouldn't be freaking out that I may have cancer. I've mentioned Schock's name to my pharmacist and the technician I just saw today and both had made comments that they've "heard his name a number of times". Schock has made it known he moved to Florida to be closer to his family, in preparation for retirement. I should also add that a major reason I finally sought a different doctor is because on more than one occasion Schock delayed in authorizing prescription refills! I finally had to file a complaint with Halifax Patient Relations in order for him to respond to the need to refill my prescriptions. Being my age (70 years old), the new doctor also set me up with a blood test, which Schock hadn't done in over a year.

Like just a number Entire encounter lasts 3 min does not properly check heart, lungs etc Forgot I was a cancer patient Don’t think he likes me due to my military service
This doctor has a major problem with filling prescriptions. His office claims they'll respond within 48 hours but fail to do so repeatedly. Trying to resolve this issue, we set up auto-refill with the pharmacy. Still, this doctor doesn't respond even within 72 hours. It has happened on multiple occasions and with a variety of medications, including blood pressure medication for a person in his 70's. Just now, we spoke to the pharmacist who said that they have noticed that this doctor has a very high turnover, which further cements the fact that this doctor does not care for his customers. A responsible doctor does not play around with patients' life-supporting medications.
We decided to leave this doctor's care after repeat instances of this doctor being lax in filling prescriptions. This office professed response time in filling scripts is 48 hours. In the most recent experience, it took from Tuesday to Friday for the script to be sent to the pharmacy. This was for blood pressure medication. And yet, this doctor, rather than issue a script for the typical 90 day supply, set it up for a 30 day supply. As such, the patient will be taking another patient's blood pressure medication for the 9 days that the script is short. Dr. Schock has short-changed the script in vengeance because he is aware of changing doctors. He moved to Florida to be close to his family and needs to retire because his lack of medical professionalism is a negative to any and all patient-customers. On precious occasions, this doctor delayed authorizing other medications, including Depakote. This is very alarming for anyone. In this instance, the patient is elderly. We are contacting Halifax Patient Relations and Halifax Corporate Compliance as this is not acceptable and should be addressed to avoid similar experiences for other prospective customers.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
