I’ve been a patient of Dr Hatten’s for many years through an Achilles tear and a rotator cuff tear and accompanying surgeries and recently knee replacement surgery. He and the staff have always been extremely caring, competent and available.

I recently fell and broke My femur!! Dr Hatten and his team took great care of me!!! I'm still having to see him since it's a long recovery, I had questions to ask and he called me right away!! Everyone I've had to talk to at the office has been great!!

Staff was friendly. The Dr. was very friendly, professional and took the time to explain everything. The only negative was the wait time. They were very busy.

Dr.Hatten is a very kind and experienced surgeon. I had a hip replacement in May and I am very happy with the result. I would not hesitate returning to him if I were to ever need another hip replacement .

Dr. Hatten is probably one of the most professional surgeons I have ever met. He answered so many of my questions...honest, brilliant and forthright. (I went to the Port Orange office and found it much better all the way around from the Mason Avenue office.) The x-ray technicians were quite good and appeared to totally enjoy their job. Dr. Hatten did a meniscus tear on my left knee in 2017 and now I needed answers about my severe arthritis in both knees. I couldn't say enough about his "bedside" manner. He not only know knees but has an excellent reputation. Extraordinarily patient and knowledgable. His notes left from the visit quite comprehensive. I so appreciate the time he spent with me, as this is a very difficult decision for me to make.

I first met Dr. Hatten almost 20 years ago when he did surgery on my son's broken leg. Being new to the area at that time, I was very impressed with him and Dr. Gillespie who had recommended that Dr. Hatten perform the suegery. Now was my turn to need an orthopedic and decided to see Dr. Hatten since I was very pleased with the way he handled my son's surgery. I am happy to say that he is still as caring as I remembered. He gave me my options and discussed them with me to see what I wanted as well. His office was also a pleasure. I would highly recommend them.
