Caren Wilkie's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Wilkie recently preformed a breast lumpectomy on me. I must say she and her staff made the ordeal as easy as possible. Dr. Wilkie was very informative and compassionate throughout the experience. Extremely satisfied with having her as my surgeon through this difficult time. And the surgical results turned out great.

Dr Wilkie is just superb. She explained everything before my great surgery in a very comprehensive manner. She also called me on the day after aurgery to be sure all was ok, on a Saturday. I could not be happier, Andi am a very picky registered nurse.

I have survived breast cancer twice and Dr. Wilke was extremely professional and unassuming in discussing my treatment. She performed 2nd breast cancer , a sm tumor near lymph glands. She explained her analysis for the surgery she felt appropriate. She is rather quiet, but to me that denotes for one a good listener and was someone I deemed skilled & experienced . She went out of her element (hospital) to perform surgery on me at a more affordable setting--a surgery center.

Dr. Wilkie may be a bit rough, but her surgical skills are excellent. We got off to a rocky start, but over time we came to understand each other and I think a true respect developed between us. I highly recommend this physician and praise her expertise, knowledge and dedication.

Dr Wilkie and I first met in 2014. She discussed in detail whether a lumpectomy or mastectomy would be more successful in treating my cancer. She was very caring before and after surgery. I have had many follow-up appointments with her at least annually and have always found her to be polite and attentive. I am happy to recommend Dr Wilkie.

Dr. Caren Wilkie has the poorest and rudest manners of any doctor I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. She is concerned with only one aspect of treatment, surgery, and of course money. She dismisses any other form of treatment with rude mannerisms and by overtalking the person. Asked about hormonal treatments she had nothing to say, but back to surgery. Asked about dietary changes, again nothing, but back to surgery, and finally asked about alternative remedies, and here she admitted she knew nothing about them, and guess what, back once more to the topic of surgery. In the end, she rose from her chair in a huff turned her back on us and left. Not one word of encouragement, empathy or hope. One of the worst experiences we have ever had with a so-called medical professional.

Dr. Wilkie is competent, articulate, thorough, and compassionate. She went the extra mile to explain the results of my wife's recent successful surgery to my wife and me. This was greatly appreciated.

Wow reading that review made me want to write one. Dr. Wilkie is the nicest professional physician I have seen. She takes her time and reviews what she thinks is going on. Before I went to surgery she began with a prayer. I feel very fortunate to have met her. The only part I agree with is waiting. Her office is so quiet you wonder if they went home but I cherish the privacy. Gwen at the front desk is so nice and caring. Karen has been very helpful through my whole ordeal. I am sorry the other person has a bad impression. I would say that is not the normal experience.
