Very disappointed with office staff. Donna was very rude. Rachel, Frankie and appointment scheduling never gave the courtesy to call back. Dr Traficante needs to get rid of all office staff., and start all all over. This is not a way to run a business or treat the customer. Dr Traficante is a good and caring doctor, doesn't deserve these type of employees.
On May 31st I had an appointment in the morning when I got to the appointment when I signed up at the window one of the staff members asked me for my insurance cards Medicare and my supplement after that she told me that my insurance was inactive that she checked it Friday I offered to talk to her insurance people she said they were not located in the same building I repeated to her that there was nothing wrong with the Medicare or the supplement was paid two months in advance and never late never I told her that I needed to use the restroom and she let me go back and the nurse said that's good that you're back here when you're done with it I want to put you in room too I followed her instructions then they came back and put me out in a waiting room cuz they didn't clear the payments yet doctoring is not doctrine anymore it's all about the money the next day I called the office told them I wanted to talk to the office manager I was very upset how I was drilled and told in front of all the people sitting behind me the my insurance was inactive I called the insurance company on the way home they told me it had to be an entry era on their part there was nothing wrong with my insurance it was paid up until August and we all know that social security Medicare takes theirs before they even send you your check the office manager was going to get back to me her name was Sherry I've been waiting since then and today is the 23rd of June for the record I was never given my PSA numbers I'm a cancer survivor this is year three they got their money they made me pay $150 dollars up front and that I did not meet my deductible because they told me that my insurance was not active . I CAN TELL YOU THIS IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY
Dr. and office staff is great. Wish I could say the same for his insurance billing clerk. We paid the initial requested amount to find that the insurance paid 80% and after many phone calls with the insurance billing clerk and documentation from the insurance company she is now issuing me a credit and is stating that the Dr. is no longer accepting my insurance. Yet my insurance company shows the Dr. in network. after many calls back and forth we find out that the billing insurance clerk is in fact the Dr. Wife. Its a shame she will destroy his practice. Even the office staff comments how she is difficult to work with and continues to cause patient frustrations.
You can tell a well-run and caring team and this is certainly one of them. I've got nothing but great things to say about the office and Dr. Traficante. So happy to have found them!
I was referred to Dr. Traficante for kidney stones. I was very impressed with the front desk but even more so with Rachel and Dr T himself. I waited less than 10 minutes. He took the time to explain my CT from the hospital, my options for treatment etc and even called me personally to follow up on my visit. Surgery is scheduled and I couldn't be more pleased.
Excellent doctor. Kind, compassionate, not alarmist. Reassuring. Well organized and friendly office staff. Highly recommended.
Just moved to the area. Needed a Urologist. Office personnel were extremely courteous and helpful. Dr Traficante took the time to understand my history and problem. He was extremely caring and comforting. What a blessing to have found his office. Dr Traficante followed up with a call after hours same day to check on me. Unbelievable!
My husband went to Dr. Traficante because of blood in urine and pain in his groin. Dr. Traficante did a cystoscopy and discovered a tumor in his bladder and scheduled a Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor. He said that the tumor had nothing to do with the pain in his groin. Two other doctors said it did. We showed up to the outpatient surgery center for the appointment only to find out from the anesthesiologist he would not put him under anesthesia due to his medical issues and there in outpatient he would not have the equipment to revive him if there were a problem. Dr. Traficante had all the prior knowledge on my husbands medical issues before scheduling him. By direction of another doctor my husband went into the hospital where because of his medical issues, they did a spinal tap and he was there for 6 days. Tumor gone, PAIN GONE. We still have cancer to deal with but he is alive. Stated in another review, Dr. Traficante does charge $1.00 for a mask. Who does that????
Wear a mask and charges a dollar for one. He is a shoemaker. Doesn't he know the masks are useless. So is he and his staff. Last visit today.
Excellent Urologist and staff!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
