You all saved my life twice. Once when a life threatening heart blockage was discovered because you require such thorough pre-op testing. The second time was my bypass which gave me my life back. Thank you all!

Elaine is the "gatekeeper" and deems you eligible with minimal information. I have tried twice to get into their office and both times Elaine just sends me an email saying "you're not qualified, sorry." Just shut down with no explanations or further questions. If she is treating people just asking for help, I can't imagine how she is treating people at the office. I have read a few other reviews that the entire team is like this and has no compassion. Bariatrics in general is a very sensitive situation and people are very brave to even contact them. Note to the practice: have a better system to discuss each patients situation. If Elaine had taken a bit more time and ask what my goals were, she could have offered a paid consult with one of the providers to get on their program for surgery follow up, rather than just telling me no. With all the bariatric professionals in Florida, let alone the US, we don't need this type of treatment. I would have given a zero if I could.

Horrible experience. The doctors are cold and uncompassionate and the ones they refer you to are impossible to get in with or even to get in touch with. They bill you double and claim that they did not get your payment. If I could give 0 stars I would. Buyer beware!!!

Its a long process and many steps that have to be taken to ensure we can safely proceed. Not very fast on returning phone calls but with that said the nutritionist, exercise specialist and the counselor are fast to return calls and emails. I have just started this weight loss process and have found it very educational.

I called today to set up a simple appointment to see if this type of surgery is right for me. They wanted $725 just to TALK to the doctor. Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! I would not recommend someone so money hungry!!
