Dr. Horenstein is a friendly, compassionate doctor who makes you feel comfortable. He doesn't rush and listens to your concerns. I would not want to go to another doctor i trust him completely.

Absolutely shines any concern for the patient . Has his mind made up prior to talking with the patient . Has zero people skills . He should be doing something that has nothing to do with people , particularly people who need medical help

I've been going to Dr. Horenstein for two years. I transferred to him because I wasn't happy with my cardiologist in New Smyrna. He is phenomenal. He has always taken his time to explain things to me. He's also my husband's cardiologist and saved my husband's life.

Great Doctor very thorough . The staff is another question ,he deserves better. If you are in the shower and miss a call it's nearly impossible to contact them back after numerous messages to do so. They do not return messages and leave you hanging /worried why they are calling out of the blue. Very unsettling There is no way to know if they don't care or if that medical network is horribly inefficient .

Can I provide a "0" rating, complete and utter failure? Please, please, anyone in the general public needs to stay AWAY from this practice. This group has NO regard for patients nor their patients lives. Demanding continued tests and not following through with providing timely test results created a situation where my husband could not have his surgery on the scheduled date because of inept and inefficient staff and doctor. And try to get your records from them. Good luck. We had family members that were to travel, and our future travel plans interrupted because of this rude, inefficient, and inept bunch of baffoons.

His focus is primarily monetary. I have never have had an appt. without him recommending an additional test. I found out yesterday his practice is not a full participant in the AARP supplemental insurance. He recommended another stress test. I demurred saying "it's not economic feasible" He then wrapped up the visit in 3 minutes. Time for me to find a different cardiologist.

Did not even get to meet him!!!! Office scheduled appointment for 11:30am on a Friday, I believe that is the only day he comes to Palm Coast. Office called at 11:17 demanding to know where I was. Granted I was supposed to be there 15 min. prior to appt., but I got lost. I was 2 minutes away when the staff called and told me he would not see me because I was a few minutes late!!! Ridiculous! The admin. on the phone was very rude, and I hung up!! I hope the Dr. reads these reviews, as this is more than once I read of nasty comments from the staff from other patients. I would not even try to go back, ever!! If I could give a zero star, I would!

When I called for the first appointment as a new patient, they asked for all my personal data including the name of my primary physician and insurance. At that time they asked to me call my doctor and request all the health history. But instead of calling my doctor, my wife personally went to request and right away they faxed the information. After two week without any call, I called this office and they verified and told me that they received my medical history but no time for them to process but they will call me when they are done. After another 15 days without any call back, I called they again and this time they are telling that they have no record of receiving my health history and they want to my doctor again. What kind of health provider is this office. They are even nasty to talk and seems that they do not care about people’s well being. I would not trust this office with my life.

THE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN. CLEARLY INTERESTED IN MONEY; NOT THE PATIENTS HEALTH. HE IS A SHAME TO THE HEALTH INDUSTRY. IF THIS IS THE BEST THAT YALE CAN PRODUCE WE ARE IN TROUBLE. RECOMMENDED MANY TESTS THAT WERE NOT NECESSARY AS PER 2 OTHER DOCTORS IN MAYO CLINIC. DID NOT ANSWER PATIENTS QUESTIONS. HORRIBLE ATTITUDE IN THE OFFICE.I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO DAYTONA HEART GROUP EVEN IF IT IS THE LAST GROUP ON EARTH.

He came into the room shook my hand and asked how I have been doing. He then proceeded to ask what happened, so that my primary doctor sent me to him.
