List of Marc Harr's Reviews
Dr. Harr performed 3 surgeries on me, both shoulders and my knee! I absolutely think he is a great doctor and he always treated me great!
I have never met a more rude or insensitive doctor. He blew me off and had the audacity to say that he didn't know why I was there, nothing was wrong. It took me a few months, but I found out I needed a new hip. I would not recommend him to anyone! He is rude, condescending, and a lousy doctor. They say that some doctors are in the bottom of their class. He thinks he was scaping the bottom.
No Stars Do not go to him. Period. End of story
Please don't see this doctor. He is the rudest and most arrogant doctor that I have ever seen, and I have seen some bad ones. He was not helpful, was condescending, and must think he is a God. My medical doctor sent me to him, and how I wish I hadn't wasted my time or money.
If I could give him zero stars, I would. He is the most arrogant doctor I have ever seen. I went to him for help, and got very little. He misdiagnosed me, and cost me more pain and time wasted. I would never recommend him.
Back in the 90s, Dr Marc Harr became my hero. The emergency doctors were going to place a hook on my elbow and Dr Harr wanted to try something new, called Scalastic implant. It has worked with amazing results for over 30 years
I waited 68 minutes , finally got in and seen Dr. for less than 5 minutes, he had me pull up tight jeans till they cut off my circulation above knee, poked 3 times said knee was fine, also put pressure on my thumb until the pain was so bad I had to pull my hand away, Dr. stated it was Tendonitis. Told him I did not want any pills, he stated I took enough now, didn't matter, (I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and asthma), so the 5 medications I take are necessary, and he continued to write an RX for an NSAID. I told him my Cardiologist did not want me taken NSAID's. He said to take it and come back in 2 weeks. The staff was friendly and pleasant enough, except his MA that asked Dr. if I should continue to wear thumb/wrist splint that I had purchased at Walmart a few weeks prior after I told her it was the only thing that relieved the pain for long periods. After paying my co-pay and I'm sure Dr. will bill my Insurance for close to $400.00 I definitely will not be going back.
Over 20 Years ago, I fell off a loading dock and crushed my elbow. Every doctor at Ormond Memorial wanted to place a hook. Dr. Marc Harr was the only doctor who stepped in and offered a different solution. He was able to save my elbow. I can say the results were terrific. I have very minimum restrictions. I brag about him every opportunity I get. Side Note: His communication skills were straight to the point, and always told me to be patient, that it will heal. He was right! After reading some of these other reviews – I am guessing YOU are the REASON there are directions on a Pop-Tart Boxes
He was the on call ER orthopedist when my mother came in with a shattered kneecap from a fall. He did a crappy job that left her in pain for years before another AMAZING surgeon suggested going back in. He found lots of debris that caused her pain and Dr. Harr never removed.
Not worth the time it takes to schedule an appointment. He will not listen to you, cuts you off every chance he gets, and basically accused me of looking for pain meds when I specifically told him I didn't want any. All I needed him to do was correct mistakes his office made in asking for my MRI authorization which set me back almost a month in horrible pain and probably more damage to my shoulder. He had no problem marking the request as "urgent" when it came to an injection, which didn't work.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
