I have been a patient of Dr. Asihene for years and years. I found her to be one of the most compassionate and wise of any other doctor I visited in my lifetime. She is honest, straight forward and kind. I'm so very sorry she is leaving Florida Health Care Plans. She had all the answers and patience. Go with Love and enjoy your new life, whatever that may be. Horrible experience with my 92 year old mother with this Dr. Instead of allowing God and nature to help my mother pass away this physician took it upon herself to highly medicate my loved one and had the nerve to tell our family that it is a 2 week "process" - we are in the process of discussing this case with our attorney !!

Went there and they didn't do a thing, the dr wouldn't listen to me and I ended up leaving (in tears) and going to another doctor. The front desk lady told me there would be no charge, and I got a bill for $110 in the mail a few days after. I called and spoke to billion and the office manager (who spoke to Dr. Asihene) and they both say I have to pay it because the doctor took her time to see me. NEVER GO HERE, ITS A HORRIBLE PLACE TO GO AND THEY DONT LISTEN TO YOUR AILMENTS OR KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING

Dr. Asihene is my family physician and has been taking care of us for 13 years. I am a retired nurse since 2008. As such I've known many doctors . I chose her as my doctor after taking care of her patients. I witnessed first hand the level of respect and dedication she has for those she cares for. She is an excellent diagnostician and one of the best Dr.'s in Volusia County.

beware !!! i was charged for a urinary track infection and prescribed meds for it and never had one !!! they do not keep there records accurate at all !!! she will tell you that you have cancer and it could be another patient !! almost lost my uncle for not giving correct insulin !!

I never liked going to female doctors before, but Dr. Asihene made me feel very comfortable with her. She listens and takes time with her patients. I feel like she really cares.
