Dr was so understanding. Answered all my concerns. Did an amazing job. Will never use any other surgeon. I would give 10 stars if I could!!

I’m a registered nurse and when I found out my father needed open heart surgery I jumped right into researching his providers. Dr. Khanna and his team are experts in their specialties. From start to finish my father received expert and A+ care. I’ve seen behind the curtain, having worked with open heart surgery patients in the past, and I was absolutely impressed with the excellence. I know how precious your family member is - and I would absolutely trust Dr. Khanna and his team at Halifax Health again and even with my own health. Though, hopefully, not anytime soon. My Dad has a new lease on life thanks to these wonderful professionals and we are eternally grateful.

Dr. Khanna performed triple bypass surgery using the "beating heart" method. I was never put on bypass machine. What bad comments can you make about someone that held your heart in his hands? Honored my request to not share all the details, very attentive at follow-up visit and encouraged me to always call with any questions. The best part? I'm still alive@

Two days before Christmas my plans abruptly changed when I was informed that I had two major blockages in my heart that were causing chest pains. I was told that my 99% and 90% blockages in 2 large heart arteries could result in a major heart attack at any time. My anxiety quickly faded away after I met Dr. Khanna. His extensive training in cardiac surgery combined with his confident, calm and reassuring manner let me know I was in the hands of a very highly skilled surgeon. He even gave my wife several surgical updates as the procedure progressed which greatly relieved her anxiety. His pain management protocol is excellent. I was off pain meds completely after only 3 days! He gave our family a Christmas miracle and because of him I look forward to many more family holidays! He has unparalleled surgical skills and compassion for his patients. I admire him both as a doctor and a man of high ethical standards and integrity. Thank you so very much Dr. Khanna for saving my life!

Dr K performed CABG on for arteries on my heart. The entire team was great ... nothing to complain about except the food LOL. I was scheduled to be in hospital 5 to 7 days. I was discharged day 3 post opp. Dr K and the staff were exceptional and responded quickly to all of my requests and questions. Most importantly my heart was not stopped to complete through the whole procedure,

Excellent work. no fan fare, comes in does the job and your good to go. Very highly rated among his peers. I concur. He did a great job. Almost 2 yrs later, no issues to report. all is well.

I was surprised to learn I need a triple bypass after failing a nuclear stress test. I was transferred from the Orlando VA Hospital to Halifax Health in Daytona for surgery with Dr. Khanna. From the moment I arrived I received excellent care from the Halifax Health/UF team. Dr. Khanna thoroughly explained my situation to my family and me, answered all my questions. His team was available throughout my stay to assist me with understanding this very complex surgery and recovery. Prior to my surgery, Dr. Khanna personally redid the vein mapping as the tech mapping showed some issues. His attention to the details of my case reassured me greatly. His team communicated with my family during my surgery and he met with my family immediately after the surgery. I had a great experience at Halifax Health/UF and was able to be discharged just four days after surgery! I really can't say enough about how wonderful Dr. Khanna and his team are and would strongly recommend them.

Amazing, I followed the recommendations from he and his staff and have had a much better outcome than I ever could have hoped for! Just amazing!

Dr. Khanna, his partner and all of his support staff at Halifax Health including the operating room staff through the post surgery nursing staff were all very professional and caring. My bypass surgery visit to Halifax became the best experience I have had at any hospital in the past.
