Excellant in all respects.
I am very pleased with Dr Peterson, he gave me a through examination and explained everything to me complete with a drawing on the exam table white paper. When we finished up our appointment he asked me if there was anything else he needed to explain, even saying I have all the time you need. I would highly recommend him.
After having my fourth and most serious TIA, I was referred by the hospital to Dr Vincent Peterson, to have a heart loop put in my chest to monitor for arterial fibrillation. I have seen a lot of doctors in my 72 years and I feel that Dr. Peterson has been one of the best. Excellent bedside manner, takes the time to answer any and all questions without rushing and you feel good you are the most important person in the world in the time that he is with you. I was awake during the minor surgery, And truly felt his competence. I would highly recommend Dr. Peterson and I have checked his qualifications and he is wonderful. All the staff also was very caring and very efficient and extremely pleasant so you feel good going and you leave an appointment!!!
The best, he is my guardian angel, always have time to be with you and never is in a hurry. If you really want a doctor that know what to do and went this is Dr. Peterson.
Dr. Peterson is a pleasant guy with a completely laid back approach, which is OK, I suppose. Remember the song, "It don't matter to me"? Seems to be the theme song at this doctor group. I think Dr. Peterson is himself OK, but the day I was there, the entire situation was truly awful. First, the offices are dirty, which is really surprising for a modern medical setting. They had open cardboard boxes in the examination rooms with supplies in them, the floors were dirty, the building looked like it hadn't been maintained since it opened in 1975, some 43 years ago. The staff were completely clueless-- did not know how to enter medical or billing codes, seemed unfamiliar with medicine, and all were very close to retirement age (or beyond). This might explain Dr. Peterson's attitude and approach, perhaps, I don't know. After going through this ordeal with them, I determined that it made a LOT more sense to simply drive the 80 miles EACH WAY to get real medical services. Hate having to report this, but it's true. If you have ever been to a good medical office (Vanderbilt Hospital or Barnes Jewish in St Louis) the differences are staggering to behold. I think this practice would be considered top-notch if it was located in a 3rd world country, but it's not so great for the US. Sorry people in this practice, but you have a LONG way to go. Hope you get there soon for the benefit of your patients.
Dr Petersen was my angel. He explained everything and took the utmost care of me. He will always be my cardiologist.
Dr. Peterson is wonderful. Takes his time to explain things to patients and listens!!!!. Never in a rush. Kind considerate. Has a wonderful smile. The staff a Daytona Heart Group are kind and friendly. As a patient I never had a long wait time. Which is excellent because I work full time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
