Willythssa Pierre-Louis's Online Review Report Card

On February 8, 2023 my wife was referred to Dr. W Pierre-Louis MD for a consultation from a referral from my primary physician for a blocked renal artery that was diagnosed via MRA testing with contrast. My (PCP) John Hill, MD referred me there for a consultation to have a stent placed in my renal artery after months of having excessively high blood pressure, sweating, and insomnia for > 4 months. Upon arrival it appeared very disorganized. There was a 2.5 hour wait in the waiting room followed by eventually being taken into a patient care room. A medical assistant arrived and did not have a list of the medication or paperwork that I originally provided. Then Dr. W. Pierre-Louise, MD arrived and asked why we were there. We discussed the sweating, insomnia, and blood pressures over 200/100 routinely in the morning. Dr. Pierre-Louise, MD then asked again for a medication list; which was provided for the second time. She continued to ask why I was there and that it appeared that I was not taking enough blood pressure medication to be a candidate for any type of renal surgery. She stated multiple times that my condition "did not meet the check boxes of someone who needed a renal stent." I again stated what I have been going through with my deteriorating quality of life and health and she continued to ask why I was there and that I did not meet "criteria" for stent placement. I became very frustrated with waiting so long in the waiting room and then seeing a doctor who continued to ask me why I was there and not have a true picture of my case. While in her presence I phoned my PCP who spoke directly to Dr. Pierre-Louise, MD regarding my case/ health and recent renal blockage findings. She continued to state she did not know what she could do for me and it was obvious that she was unwilling to help me. With no help from her I returned to my PCP who referred me to another surgeon who completed the renal artery stent placement and I am now returning to a normal quality of life. To add insult to injury this physician then proceeded to bill Medicare as well for me sitting a in waiting room for 2.5 hours only to see a physician who I needed help/care from who appeared confused, complacent and demonstrated no qualities of a physician who should be caring for a person in need of medical attention.

I love her and her whole team I had 80% blockage and she totally took care of me .She was honest caring and listened. Did not rush me one time . Her whole team is so caring and on point and calls you back and listens to everything you say. And very reassuring.

I had test done in December, I had 2 zoom appointments set up. Office failed with both of them. First zoom call they never updated my contact info, 2nd appt I was sent the links, sat in chat room for over 1 hour. noone showed up. I called office Mgr, she was going to back with me. no response. This is unacceptable. I will get my results and find another doctor. Hasn't been a good experience.

Very very amazing doctor. She cares for her patients and gets to the bottom of each issue. She is a save a life doctor.
