Where do I begin to tell you what a wonderful doctor you will find in choosing Dr. Ghods. He takes immediate charge of the situation and sets the plan in motion. I was having unbearable hip and leg pain and could not move without having awful pain. My husband called his office on Thursday morning at 9:00 and we were given an 11:00 appointment that very day. After his examination of me he said he was admitting me to the hospital and setting surgery for the following morning. By 1:00 I was in the hospital and all measures for surgery were taken including an MRI which we later realized he had given special instructions so that I could withstand the pain and still have images that were important for surgery. Friday morning at 6:00 I was taken to the operating room. Several hours later I woke up in my hospital room PAIN FREE. In my eyes he was a miracle worker. After months of persistent pain Dr. Ghods relieved my unbelievable pain within 24 hours. Dr. Ghods is a real treasure!!!

As soon as Dr. Ghods was made aware of my brain tumor and paralyzed right hand and arm, he scheduled surgery ASAP. He even came to the hospital on a Saturday to explain every step of the procedure and to reassure me that everything would be fine. He answered all my questions and made it easy to understand the medical terms. He suggested that I remain awake during the surgery so that he could be sure that all the parts of my body were working properly. He talked to me the whole time. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Ghods.

Dr Ghods removed a large tumor from my brain . Everything was happening so fast. I was terrified ! My family and I were blessed with Dr Ghods. He truly cares and is an amazing surgeon and person! Dr Ghods is a blessing to me and my family !!!!!

I can’t say enough about Dr Ali. He did an amazingly successful surgery on my wife. His communication prior to and after the surgery was amazing. He made us both feel very comfortable in an extremely scary time in our lives. He is very thorough. He is not only an amazing doctor but he is extremely down to Earth and his human factor really helped us through this. His office for follow up care has been great as well. Very thorough and everyone super friendly and warm. Would HIGHLY recommend Dr Ali!

Did surgery, I had brain cancer, he removed a tumor and set me up for all necessary aftercare. Explained everything along the way. It was a tricky surgery as the tumor was attached to the motion sensor of my brain. I am a musician and I was concerned about playing guitar again and all is coming back. He is the best in his field.

In 2015 my husband was diagnosed with a large glioblastoma brain tumor for which Dr Ghods had already done extensive research and published numerous papers. We were definitely blessed to have had him join Holy Cross' staff shortly prior to the journey we were about to undertake. Dr Ghods showed my husband and our family so much love, support and respect. He constantly kept us in the loop with language that we could understand during each phase of Jim's treatment. He would text us prior to and after each test, treatment or scan for encouragement and guidance. He made Jim and our family feel as though we were his only priority, although he obviously had many. His concern for his patients and their families is extremely evident and so rare. Dr Ghods kept Jim and our family strong throughout his 16-month fight. It is our prayer that Dr Ghods is able to continue his research and war against glioblastoma in honor of his father, my husband, Beau Biden, John McCain, and so many.

I cannot say enough in praising Dr. Ghods! My wife was recently diagnosed with a large brain mass which turned out to be metastatic melanoma. Dr. Ghods was the neurosurgeon we were referred to and he performed her surgery 3 days later. When we first met him, it was apparent that he was special. He discussed the initial findings with us in detail and, as a definite touch of class, he gave us his mobile phone number so that we could communicate with him at any time! His technical expertise was wonderful as well and he removed the entire tumor. The after care with him was also great. As a physician myself, I would have no hesitation in referring patients to Dr. Ghods.

I’ve had longstanding lower back issues that quickly turned into an emergency situation. Within minutes after reviewing my MRI Dr. Jourabchi recommended I meet him at the ER and prepare for surgery. It was an emergent and stressful situation that happened quickly, but he and his staff took care to explain everything in detail, offer options even though there was really only one clear one, and ensure I was comfortable with what was happening. He followed up with me to check on recovery almost daily my first week after surgery and I felt like I was in very good hands. He is quick but thorough and will answer any questions you have.

My dad suffered a seizure while on vacation she was found to have a brain tumor. Dr Jourabchi stepped in and provided care unlike any health care professional we’ve ever met. He was confident, reassuring, up front and cared about the family as much as the patient. The surgery was a complete success with the tumor being removed 100% and the scarring is better than we could have expected. As I had to fly down to be there, Dr. Jourabchi made sure I was informed every single step of the way, that I made it to town ok and was able to get in to see my dad. He was reachable at absolutely any point I had a question and reached out himself, even after hours to ensure things were going well. He helped make sure I was setup to bring my dad back home and has followed up several times since still offering assistance if needed even with us being across the country. If every doctor had his skill as well as “bedside” manner it would be beyond amazing.
