Carl Danzig's Online Review Report Card

This is a true story, and my personal experience: In March of 2019, after a routine eye exam I was told to visit a specialist. My visit did not go as planned, and I never knew that my life would take such a turn. Within a week I got an appointment at Rand eye Institute and was examined by Doctor Danzig, who also became my surgeon. I was diagnosed with a retinal detachment, at the time I didn’t even know what is was and was quite worried. Doctor Danzig wasted no time and book my surgery, he answered all of my questions and explained to me the procedure and his approach. For a moment I felt reassured and no longer felt hopeless. My family was worried but they were very supportive. The day of the surgery they met Doctor Danzig; he took the time to reassure them, answered all of their questions, and explained to them the procedure. One thing that we all noticed was that Doctor Danzig is patient, calm, knowledgeable, and he takes the time to know his patients. I felt comfortable, and ready. Although I was nervous, it felt like I was in good hands. The surgical team made the process smooth, my directions were clear, and they made sure to follow up with me. All of this instilled in me and family immediate trust Doctor Danzig and his surgical team. My surgery went well, and although it was an outpatient, he made sure to tell me to call him at any time if ever I felt that something was wrong. I am grateful and very fortunate to have found Doctor Danzig. I now leave 53 miles away and still choose to drive to his clinic for my annual visits. A doctor like him is hard to find, and I am forever grateful. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Carl Danzig is without a doubt one of the best in his profession. He literally saved my vision from a detachment. I understand that there are people who become very impatient with the crowded waiting room at times but I can tell you that, as in my case, when there was an emergency, I took priority. If they had not rushed me in, in front of those people who had prior appointments, I’m not sure I would have vision in my right eye. I had been to a well renowned Park Avenue doctor in New York who did not diagnose the early stages of my problem. I would never trust my vision to anyone other than Dr. Danzig and the Rand I institute.

My personal case involved 2 severe retina detachments and without their dedication, care, surgical skill and specialized knowledge my eyesight would not have been restored. I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Carl Danzig in 2019 when I had a sudden onset of flashes, floaters, and one other worrisome condition. Prior to my appointment I read many reviews about the Dr. and felt that I would be in very good hands. Dr. Danzig far exceeded my expectations with his thorough examination, his explanation of my eye issues, and his treatment plan. He took his time and answered every question I had. I have had several follow up appointments with Dr. Danzig since 2019 and he has been 100% consistent in providing excellent care. Not only is he ranked very high in his field, he is also warm, kind, and approachable. He sincerely cares about his patients!! You will be in great hands with Dr. Danzig! Wish there were more than 5 stars.....

Dr. Carl Danzig, Ophthalmologist, is part of the team at the prestigious Rand Eye Institute. He has been treating my eye issues since June, 2019 and I have had great success through his expert care! 10 stars if I could! Dr. Danzig treated me for several serious eye issues in June, 2019, and continues to treat and monitor me. He is the epitome of professionalism and is highly skilled.
