List of Dipen Parekh's Reviews
Dr Parekh and his team (starting from his secretaries, nurses and entire staff) are all committed to giving us the best care possible in the most professional way.
Dr. Parekh saved my life! I was diagnosed with an aggressive and rare cancerous kidney mass, and its location would have warranted a complete nephrectomy. Dr. Parekh was able to do a partial robotic nephrectomy sparing my kidney and removing cancer entirely. Even other doctors in the field have expressed their admiration for what Dr. Parekh was able to do in my situation. Dr. Parekh's nurses and staff were caring and patient, showing genuine care when answering my numerous questions. We are truly blessed to have Dr. Parekh in Miami.
Excellent and skilled surgeon. Thank you for saving my husband’s kidney when removing that tumor. Your expertise is greatly appreciated. A local surgeon wanted to remove my husband’s kidney. So blessed to have found you. Lisette who is on your team was so friendly and thorough with post-op discharge instructions. We loved your team. Thank you so much!!!
Dr. Parekh us a wonderful doctor. I saw him after my urologist misdiagnosed the extent of my bladder cancer. Dr. Parekh performed a second, more comprehensive, biopsy and discovered that I had invasive and aggressive bladder cancer. After chemo, he performed a radical cystectomy in March of this year. My bladder and prostate were removed - both had cancer. My recovery has been miraculous and I am currently in remission. I am so grateful to Dr. Parekh and his terrific team. After surgery, UM Sylvester has incredible support services that help in the recovery process.
Dr. Parekh, Lisset Oliva and Ricardo Almeida from your team have been outstanding, totally responsive and most sensitive in responding and attending to my numerous questions. I am eternally grateful to you Dr Parekh and your outstanding team.
I underwent robotic kidney surgery 1 day ago and everything went so well that I’m going home soon. Result is perfect and it was no complication. I’m very grateful to Dr. Parekh and his team, particularly Lissett Oliva (NP) for her care and guidance. Thank you Dr.Parekh so much!
My consultation with Dr. Parekh which was virtual from Trinidad was very encouraging it left me with a sense of confidence that I had made the right decision to retain him to do my operation and to come to the university of Miami and put myself into his capable hands and since arriving here I have been very impressed with his competence his exceptional competence and the team who support him thank you very much
Sloppy and incompetent robotic prostate cancer surgery; cut my ureter, didn’t recognize until 10 days post-op. Do NOT, under ANY circumstances, use him. I’ve had 5 subsequent surgeries to correct his unforgivable and avoidable mistakes!!!
He's terrible Dr and he doesn't do the surgery instead the intern MD do the work. He never talked to my or my husband . I'm also work in UM and hes arrogant and smug. If you want to dye you go to him lol
My robotic prostatectomy in April, 2019 was complicated by a right ureteral injury. The incidence of this complication is reported as 0.01%. I suffered through multiple surgical procedures and hospitalizations over the past year, most recently requiring a reimplantation of my right ureter. I do not consider a doctor who boasts thousands of robotic prostatectomies as competent and I'd like to make other potential patients aware of this doctor BEFORE they make their choice of surgeon.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
